Nail Polish Review: ORLY Crawford's Wine Nail Lacquer

Nail polish: ORLY Nail Lacquer in Crawford's Wine

What the brush looks like:
My nails with 2 coats of polish, all nails have ORLY In A Snap Quick-Dry Topcoat on.:
Availability: This can be purchased at any drugstore that carries ORLY nail products; the price varies but it ranges from about $9.50- $9.75.
Would I buy this again?: Yes!

Notes: ORLY describes this as a deep red shimmer. I'd describe this as a GORGEOUS metallic cherry red; very vintage looking. I absolutely adore this nail polish, it's such a lovely vintage red and I don't even usually like red polish but I find myself reaching for this ALL. THE. TIME. I think it would look amazing on anyone and I highly suggest looking into it if you want a metallic red. It goes on easily, is opaque, and wears well too.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Disclaimer: I bought this myself.

Nail Polish Review: ORLY Kiss The Bride Nail Lacquer

Nail polish: ORLY Nail Lacquer in Kiss the Bride

What the brush looks like:
My nails with 3 coats of polish, all nails have ORLY In A Snap Quick-Dry Topcoat on.:
Availability: This can be purchased at any drugstore that carries ORLY nail products; the price varies but it ranges from about $7 - $9.50.
Would I buy this again?: Yes.

NotesORLY describes this as a light pink crème. I'd describe this as a pastel blush pink with a cream finish. In order to achieve a hardly visible nail line I find that I have to apply three coats of this, unfortunately with my skin tone applying three coats makes this show up nearly white. That said, this is a great color that goes with everything and looks elegant for any occasion. That hint of pink in it helps give it that elegant edge.

Nail Product Review: ORLY In A Snap Quick-Dry Topcoat

ORLY In A Snap Quick-Dry Topcoat

Availability: This can be purchased at any drugstore that carries ORLY nail products; the price varies but it ranges from about $4 - $12.
Would I buy this again?: Possibly.
Notes: Frankly I let my nails dry for about 30 minutes before doing anything when I paint my nails and make no exceptions for something that claims to be quick-drying. I feel like this does help the surface of the nails FEEL drier to the touch but if you're not careful and do something too hand-involved without giving this at least an hour to FULLY set (I'm talking like, you're playing with slime or knitting, crocheting, unpacking boxes) the under-layers of the nail polish can still move around.

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Nail Product Review: ORLY Bonder Rubberized Basecoat

Hello folksickles. Today's review will be for the ORLY Bonder Rubberized Basecoat

Availability: You can purchase this at any drugstore that sells ORLY nail products - the pricing varies but on average this goes for $4-$13.
Would I buy this again?: Possibly.
Notes: So given that I frequently work with cardboard I notice that my nails peel which causes my my nail polish to peel and otherwise have poor wear time. That said, I've been taking prenatal and hair vitamins lately which have really helped with the integrity of my nails and have helped them grow stronger but I still needed something to help my nail polish stay on. Now I don't find the two week claim to be true but I have noticed better longevity of my nail polishes when using this product.

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Makeup Geek Sugar Rush Duochrome Pigment Review

Today I bring to you the Makeup Geek Sugar Rush Duochrome Pigment

I used lune+aster Dawn to Dusk Gel Eyeliner in Black  for the black base and Sephora Collection Let It Snow Colorful Shadow & Liner for the white, the far right is this swatched wet
AvailabilityThis is exclusive to makeupgeek.com. It retails at $5.99 for 3g (0.1 oz.).
Would I buy this again? Yes!
NotesI've been low-key checking Makeup Geek out for AGES and they've been on my wish list for ages too, I decided to finally give in and give them a try. I am very happy with the quality of these shadows - they're all highly pigmented. smooth and easy to blend.
Sugar Rush is described as a translucent base with icy blue and purple reflects, I'd describe this as a translucent white snow base with teal and lilac reflects, the lilac here is super subtle.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
