Lip Balm Review: Korres Peach Lip Butter Stick

Balm: Korres Lip Butter Stick in Peach
Availability: This appears to have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Probably not.
Notes: I find that these lip butter sticks have been a long time coming and I know they were available outside of the US for a while so it's a little annoying that it took so long to get them here. Anyway, I'd say that this color is a soft orange. The texture is nice and smooth and it's lightly hydrating. It feels really light on the lips. Overall I'd say it's nice but that, generally speaking, I prefer a product with a more hydrating texture.

Lip Balm Review: Kari Gran Cinnamon Pimenta Berry Naked Lip Whip

Balm: Kari Gran Lip Whip in Cinnamon Pimenta Berry Naked
Availability: This retails at $15 for 7 ml (.25 oz) and can be purchased at sephora.com as well as its respective physical store locations and at karigran.com

Would I buy this again?: I do like it a lot, so possibly.

Notes: Alright, this is a clear, potted balm. The texture is somewhat on the thicker side but doesn't feel heavy. This is mega, mega, hydrating and is formulated to be on the more natural side of things. To be honest with you folks, I really like it a lot and I definitely want to play with it some more. I think it would make a fantastic balm to put on your lips overnight that would really hydrate and restore dry lips to a soft existence.

Eyeliner Review: Sephora Collection Surfer Babe Contour Eye Pencil 12 Hr Wear Waterproof

This week's eyeliner is going to be: Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil 12 Hr Wear Waterproof in Surfer Babe
Availability: This has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Definitely, these are great!
Notes: In terms of color, this is a described as a peacock blue. I'd describe this as an absolutely stunning deep teal-based blue like... I needed it in my life, so gorgeous. It has a nice, creamy texture and glides on easily and is opaque. I want to say its life on the waterline is about 4-5 hours, which isn't so bad, it travels to, and stays on the outer rim of the waterline (by the lashes) for the full 12 hours. I think this would make a funky lip color.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments :)

Disclaimer: I paid for the product mentioned.

MAKE UP FOR EVER 953, 952, 958 Star Powder Review

Today I'll be reviewing MAKE UP FOR EVER Star Powder in 953, 952, 958
Alright so ever since I was given samples of these I had to have more. Moar! I am so in love with the star powders, they're absolutely gorgeous and when I saw these crazy cool BRIGHT colors I'm like... ok, I'm making a sample to take home. Enjoy.

AvailabilityThese have been discontinued.
Would I buy this? I wanna say yes.
NotesAll of these shades have a pearl finish.
953 -is described as a peach with pink highlights. It's this beautiful, almost neon-looking peach shade with a beautiful pink pearl.  I can imagine this looking gorgeous as blush or a highlight on a deeper complexion.
952 -is described as an iridescent orange. This is an obnoxious tangerine shade with loads of gold glitter and a somewhat matte but very buttery base. I friggin love it. Like... look at how bright it is, I obviously needed it in my life. This would make a lovely blush on deeper complexions as well.
958 - is described as a  green apple with gold highlights. This is another painfully, obnoxious bright, vivid shade of what I would say is a grass green with gold, pink, and green micro-shimmer. Gorgeous shade.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments :)

DisclaimerI made these samples when I worked at Sephora.

MAKE UP FOR EVER 9 Artist Shadow Palette Vol.2 Artistic Review

Today I'll be reviewing the MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist 9 Artist Shadow Palette Vol. 2 Artistic
Availability: This has been discontinued
Would I buy this?: Damn right I would.
Notes: These are unique, fantastic, buttery, smooth, amazing. Just... they really surpassed my expectations so... ugh, can I tell you how happy and excited I was to get this... I love that  these palettes have a booklet that comes along that explains how they're broken down by look and what looks to do, but you can obviously mix and match as well. This palette is described as colors you crave and well... yes, yes they are :P
I-872 is described as a pearly pink (iridescent). It's an opalescent white base with a pink and somewhat golden pearl/sheen.
D-552 is described as a crystalline gray beige (diamond). I would describe it as a taupe-y golden beige... wheat kind of color with a white pearl and whitish silver micro-glitter flecks.
ME-512 is described as a golden beige (metallic). The description kind of fits really well here.
ME-910 appears to be exclusive to this palette, I'd describe it as a bright fuchsia, cool-toned hot pink, BRIGHT, I love it.  This is described as a blush for political reasons (some can be irritated by pink/red pigments) and stains my lids. But I still love it.
ME-232 is described as another palette exclusive which is sad times. It's a buttery bright turquoise. Y'all know this color is my jam, my love, why u exclusive to dis palette tho? Caribbean ocean blue. My love, my heart, my ocean home. I clearly needed the palette for this one color.
ME-700 is described as an amber (metallic). It's literally super buttery, liquid amber gorgeousness. I love it!
S-924 is another palette exclusive, I'd describe it as a reddish violet, orchid color. I like it a lot, It's one of those interesting purples that can lean more red or blue depending what it's paired with.
ME-302 is described as a peacock (metallic). This is a dark chocolate brown base with an intense teal duochroming... I LOVE it. Absolutely stunning for that smoky mermaid look.
ME-930  is described as black purple (metallic). It's this gorgeous, rich eggplant color that leans somewhat warm. Beautiful.
