Sugarpill Penelope, Mint Soda, Clickbait, and Holy Ghost Chromalust Review

My Sugarpill Story: Amy Doan, the founder of Sugarpill, has been an inspiration many years before Sugarpill even launched. I found out about her Ebay shop through Leesha's videos and  was blown away by the gorgeous makeup looks she did to accompany her product pages. She is an enormous inspiration to me because she's doing what she loves and is colorful and not afraid to express or be herself. So when Sugarpill first launched I knew I had to get my hands on the goods.  I really hope you enjoy the review and seriously, if you have the money to spend, go to sugarpill.net right now and get your hands on this gold! :3 Black Friday is coming!
Availability: Penelope is the only shade still available and retails at $14 for 3g of product.
Note: What sets the Chromalusts apart from similar loose shadows or pigments are that a large majority of them contain these amazing micro-glitter particles - they do a good job of staying on the skin as well but generally show up when the product is used dry (it takes on a more metallic quality if used wet). I have to apologize that for many of the pigments, my camera just doesn't do the glitter justice because it's just so much more multidimensional in natural light, but I hope my descriptions are helpful :3
Penelope is described as a super reflective metallic copper. I'd describe this as being true to its description. Everyone seemed to really like this shade in their reviews and videos so I figured I'd give it a try. You guis... this is just SICK. I mean I usually pull for more amber versus copper colors but this is just sickening... in a drag queen kind of way :P
Mint Soda is described as a radiant metallic mint with sparkling gold sheen. I'd say this is more of a chartreuse with golden green and silver micro-glitter. I love colors like this.
Clickbait is described as a metallic mossy teal with golden sheen. This is another color that's really true to its description and it's just utterly glorious and stunning. As a mermaid, I needed this. Like... so beautiful with a slight hint of gray, like the ocean on a cloudy day... gah!
Holy Ghost is described as a sparkling deep sea blue with aqua and green reflects. This is just another perfect mermaid tone - a gorgeous aquatic blue with fun micro-glitter sprinkles. It makes me smile when I see it. :)

OCC Acacia Loose Color Concentrate Review

Hi folks :3 Today's review will be about another exciting little thing I got to play with and buy :)
Availability: This, unfortunately, is no longer being made.
Would I buy this again?: Absolutely!
Notes:  From hearing good things and my experience with the Lip Tars and their airbrush makeup (which I LOVE!!!!), I KNOW OCC is good stuff and while nearly all of their loose color concentrates are beautiful I've only owned one so far. This particular shade is one that I always swatch at makeup shows and consider but I didn't get it until now which is just... sadness. I'd also like to mention that ALL the loose colour concentrates are 100% vegan, carmine and cruelty-free. They are safe for use all over the face and body, and can be combined with airbrush medium if you'd like to apply them with an airbrush. :)
The site describes Acacia as a yellow/green shimmer and to me, that's an understatement of what this shade really is. Acacia is a beautiful yellow gold base with a lime green pearl and turqouise microsparkle. It is so absolute gorgeous and summery, I love it.

MAKE UP FOR EVER 969, 956, and 905 Star Powder Review

Today I'll be reviewing MAKE UP FOR EVER Star Powder in 969, 956, and 905.

Alright so ever since I was given samples of these I had to have more. Moar! I am so in love with the star powders, they're absolutely gorgeous and when I saw these crazy cool BRIGHT colors I'm like... ok, I'm making a sample to take home. Enjoy.

AvailabilityThese have been discontinued.
Would I buy this? I wanna say yes.
NotesAll of these shades have a pearl finish.
969 - is described as a diamond pink with golden highlights. I would describe this as a coral pink with a gold and soft pink micro-glitter. This is such a beautiful color on the eyes, on the cheeks, and is just a great color on almost everyone. Very pretty and versatile.
956 - is described as a turquoise gold. I would say that while this is a warmer-toned turquoise shade it isn't really golden. I would say it's more of a turquoise with a strong turquoise pearl... it does show up more golden over a black base though. I mean, it's a mermaid color nonetheless and I needed it.
905 - is described as a blue. It's a blue with a violet pearl throughout. Pretty.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

DisclaimerI made these samples.

MAKE UP FOR EVER I-804, ME-734,and I-838 Artist Shadows Review

Today I'll be reviewing the MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Shadows in I-804, ME-734, and I-838
Availability: This is available at sephora.com and makeupforever.com as well as their respective physical store/boutique locations. Here's how pricing works: Here's how pricing works, each individual shadow without a case is $17, $29 for 2 shadows and a case, $39 for 3 eyeshadows and a case, $49 for 4 shadows and a case, and/or $59 for 6 eyeshadows and a case.
Would I buy this again?: Damn right I would.
Notes: Confession - I disliked a large majority of MAKE UP FOR EVER's older eyeshadow formula because the texture was dry, you had to work with them a certain way to get them to work for you, they weren't the most user friendly if you were a noob and just... the pigmentation on some was lacking... I loved MAKE UP FOR EVER as a brand but just not the shadows. Then these came and I developed a big crush on MAKE UP FOR EVER all over again. These are unique, fantastic, buttery, smooth, amazing. Just... they really surpassed my expectations so I just had to pick up a few more colors to add to my collection. Take a gander and then like... go buy some. Do it. You won't be disappointed. I also really like how sleek the cases are. They don't take up much space at all and it's nice that they're refillable and customizable.
I-804 is described as a golden pink. I would say this color is a coral-pink with a gold duo-chrome, I think this color is gorgeous both on the eyes and as a blush; it is really nicely pigmented. This shade has been discontinued.
ME-734 is described as a tangerine. This is a mega-watt, super intense bright orange that's absolutely gorgeous, I love the slight gold tint going through it, it reminds me of a koi fish. Just so, so pretty.
I-838 is described as a slate pink. This is a really interesting shade because it looks almost like a bruise on me... It's kind of a purply pink with a silver pearl throughout. I think it's really pretty when paired with more purple colors or even applied lightly as blush. This shade has been discontinued.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadow Review: Black No. 1, Iggy, Paranoid

Ok you folks, when I saw these on Instagram I thought they were really dope but when I swatched them I knew I had to pick up a few.
AvailabilityThese have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again? I think I would.
Notes: Alright, so texture-wise all of these are really creamy, buttery, and blend very easily. They're just a really good metallic-finish powder shadow; so if you like any of the colors that these come in, definitely check them out and play with them.
Black No. 1  is described as a metallic gunmetal. I'd have to agree with that... it has really pretty silver and gold sparkles in it. This isn't typically a color I'm drawn to but the sparkle in it is beautiful and I thought that it would make a really easy smoky eye paired with a matte gray/black and a blending out shade or even on its own over a black base.
Iggy is  described as a metallic mermaid green. Well that explains why I bought it. This is a really beautiful metallic cool-toned grassy green and I don't really have very many greens like it so I figured I'd get it, it looks absolutely stunning mixed in with the color I'm about to describe below.
Paranoid is described as a metallic cobalt. No one is surprised that I bought this color - it's a gorgeous intense turquoise, marine blue loaded with a gorgeous metallic seen with little aqua sparkle bursts that look like the sun glimmering over a wave. Gah. As a mermaid I completely needed to own this and I'm glad it's in my collection. So exciting!
