April 2025 Arrivals

I thought for once we'd have a month without arrivals but my friend Jade came through with some belated gifts for me so here we are.

1. Anna Sui Twinkling Eye Glitter (Eye Color) in 300This is a pretty purply pink eyeshadow topper with holographic glitter in it.

2. Sugarpill Pressed Eyeshadow in Flurry: A lilac shade - I think this would be pretty both as an eyeshadow and as a blush as well.

3. Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel: Frankly I've seen this product around for the longest time!  While I haven't purchased a tub for myself, I'm glad Jade got this for me because I get prone to either sunburn or irritated skin with the summer coming so this will be good to have for soothing purpose.

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Anna Sui 300 Twinkling Eye Glitter & Sugarpill Flurry Pressed Eyeshadow Look

Hey folks! Today I bring you a soft, smoky colorful look.

Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
I  applied YSL Babydoll Kiss & Blush in Orange Fougueux as a base for  Hourglass Blush in Sublime Flush with my Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5, respectively. I also applied ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Perilune as a base for Sugarpill Pressed Eyeshadow in Flurry using my AOA studio F19  Highlighter brush.
As a base for my eyeshadow I applied NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk and blended it out with my Crown Pro C511 brush.
For the crease I applied MAKE UP FOR EVER I-872 along with MAKE UP FOR EVER S-924 with the Sonia Kashuk Essential Blending Crease Brush No. 273 and Crown Pro C511 Brush, respectively.
For the lid I applied Sugarpill Pressed Eyeshadow in Flurry wet using wet n wild Rose Addiction Photo Focus 3-in-1 Primer Water with my Elizabeth Mott All Over Eyeshadow brush and smoked out the outer corner using MAKE UP FOR EVER ME-930I also topped the Sugarpill shadow with  Anna Sui Twinkling Eye Glitter (Eye Color) in 300 - Pink Parade.
To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Colourpop Lux and MAKE UP FOR EVER I-872 using my no-name gigantic paddle brush from Crown and Crown Pro C528 brush, respectively.
For eyeliner I applied the Physicians Formula Eye Booster Waterproof Ultra-Fine Liquid Eyeliner just at the lash line to not take away the smoking out that we did but give the lashes definition; I also applied NYX Professional Makeup Baby Powder Faux White Inner Eye Brightener to the waterline.
For the lower lash line, I applied MAKE UP FOR EVER ME-302 using my Bubbi Detail brush.
The look sans falsies.
For lashes I used Ardell Professional Active Lash in Speedy along with the Duo Quick-Set Brush On Strip Lash Adhesive.
Hope that you liked this! :D It was super fun for me to put together!

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Disclaimer: The Sephora Collection 55.5 brush, YSL, MAKE UP FOR EVER, Colourpop ,and lune + aster products were provided for testing purposes. The Anna Sui and Sugarpill products mentioned were gifted to me by a friend. I paid for everything else you see here myself. All opinions are my own.

Anna Sui 300 Pink Parade Twinkling Eye Glitter Review

Today I bring to you the Anna Sui Twinkling Eye Glitter (Eye Color) in 300 - Pink Parade.

AvailabilityThis product appears to have been limited edition and is currently out of stock online.
Would I buy this? No.
Notes: I'd describe the color of this as being a sheer pink base with pink, violet, and holographic glitter chunks in it. While it is beautiful, unfortunately it has a bit of a tacky texture that makes the eyeshadow underneath it crease. Due to how sheer it is, I'm assuming it's meant to be an eyeshadow topper type of product.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
