Candle Review: Bath & Body Works White Caramel Cold Brew Scented Candle

Hi folks, so I have another home fragrance post for you.
Candle: Bath & Body Works Scented Candle in White Caramel Cold Brew
Availability: This scent appears to have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again? No.
Notes: I purchased this because my bestie sad it reminded him of Pumpkin Caramel Latte.
Here's what I'm getting from smelling the candle cold - there's a fresh-brewed coffee scent just heavily enveloped in a vanilla syrup with just a hint of caramel. Personally I don't like how overly sweet it is and wish that the coffee scent somehow mellowed out the intense sweetness.
As the wax warms and burns, the scent intensifies, though it doesn't change.
I find this candle melts and burns very well; it has a throw that smells up my entire room.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Disclaimer: I purchased this myself.

Candle Review: Bath & Body Works Sun Washed Citrus Scented Candle

Hi folks, so I have another home fragrance post for you.
Candle: Bath & Body Works Scented Candle in Sun Washed Citrus
Availability: This candle currently retails at $26.50 for 14.5 oz (411g).
Would I buy this again?: Yes!!!!
Notes: I purchased this because it smells citrusy and refreshing.
Here's what I'm getting from smelling the candle cold - this smells like some kind of tangerine-lemon concoction that's almost fizzy but not quite. It almost reminds me of Emergen-C but not quite as orange-y. I really like the way it smells and I'd definitely recommend any of you citrus fans out there to give it a sniff in-store when/if you're able.
As the wax warms and burns, the scent intensifies, though it doesn't change.

Candle Review: Bath & Body Works Beach Grass Scented Candle

Hi folks, so I have another home fragrance post for you.
Candle: Bath & Body Works Scented Candle in Beach Grass
Availability: This scent appears to be discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Yes!
Notes: I purchased this because it has that sea breeze, refreshing aquatic scent that I like.
Here's what I'm getting from smelling the candle cold - I'm unsure how to reference the scent I'm picking up other than to say it's got that "fresh clean sea breeze" scent that I really like, reminiscent of the ocean sans brine. It's so lovely and clean. I absolutely adore it!
As the wax warms and burns, the scent intensifies, though it doesn't change.
I find this candle melts and burns very well; it has a throw that smells up my entire room.

Candle Review: Bath & Body Works Georgia Peach Scented Candle

Hi folks, so I have another home fragrance post for you.
Candle: Bath & Body Works Scented Candle in Georgia Peach
Availability: This scent appears to be discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Yes.
Notes: I purchased this because it smells nearly identical to Bath & Body Works Market Peach Scented Candle, but slightly more peachy.
Here's what I'm getting from smelling the candle cold - mostly peach skin with maybe a hint of vanilla (haha, just like the label claims!) and a hint of peach flesh/juice. It's very summery and has a nostalgic feel to it due to its similarity to Market Peach.
As the wax warms and burns, the scent intensifies, though it doesn't change.
I find this candle melts and burns very well; it has a throw that smells up my entire room.

Candle Review: Bath & Body Works Honeysuckle & Freesia Scented Candle

Hi folks, so I have another home fragrance post for you.
Candle: Bath & Body Works Scented Candle in Honeysuckle & Freesia
Availability: This scent appears to be discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Yes.
Notes: I purchased this because it smells really nice - refreshing and summery.
Here's what I'm getting from smelling the candle cold - mostly freesia with just a hint of honeysuckle, which is surprising given that honeysuckle tends to be a fairly powerful scent note. I like how the freesia here gives the candle a softness and freshness that the honeysuckle wouldn't normally have on its own.
As the wax warms and burns, the scent intensifies, though it doesn't change.
I find this candle melts and burns very well; it has a soft throw but I find smells up my entire room, the scent just isn't crazy intense.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Hi folks, so I have another home fragrance post for you.

Candle: Bath & Body Works Scented Candle in Cactus Blossom
Availability: This scent regularly retails at $26.50 for 14.5 oz. (411g) of product.
Would I buy this again?:Yes, absolutely!
Notes: I purchased this because it smells like Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille, and you know how I love that stuff.
Here's what I'm getting from smelling the candle cold - this smells very floral in a sensual way with hints of coconut and vanilla. I LOVE it and I highly suggest giving it a sniff when you have the opportunity to shop in-store.
As the wax warms and burns, the scent intensifies, though it doesn't change.

Lip Balm Review: primera Clean Berry Lip Mask

primera Clean Berry Lip Mask

AvailabilityThis comes in a  0.59 oz. (17g) jar and can be purchased at shopatkorea.com (for $17) and at stylevana.com (for $17.39).
Would I buy this?: No.
Notes: Color-wise this particular shade is clear and just gives a sheen to the lips. It has a faint sweet-tart scent.  What I personally really dislike about this balm is that it's sticky and its hydration kind of disappears within three hours of wear but it remains oddly sticky. It just feels meh on the lips and I don't love it.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Morphe 25L Live in Color Palette Look

Hey folks, today I bring you a fun colorful look, now I know this is a rainbow palette and a rainbow look would've been appropriate, especially because it was released for pride, but I think that would've been predictable so I used my randomizer app (Decide Now) to pick shades for me, I usually go for 5 but I accidentally hit 6 this time around and just rolled with it.

Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
I  applied the blush from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette as a base for Pride with my Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5. I also applied illuminator from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette as a base for Liberation using my Sephora Collection #74 PRO Small Blush and Contour brush.

As a base for my eyeshadow I applied MAKE UP FOR EVER D-21 AQUA MATIC and blended it out with my Crown Pro C511 brush.

For the crease I applied Culture along with Sexuality with the Sonia Kashuk Essential Blending Crease Brush No. 273 and Crown Pro C511 Brush, respectively.
For the lid  I applied Make Magic wet using Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea and  my  Crown Pro C510 brush I also went into Truth with same brush to define the outer "V" are of the eye. Sorry, no photo of this step,
To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Milk and Liberation using my no-name gigantic paddle brush from Crown and Crown Pro C528 brush (this bit not photographed); respectively

For eyeliner, I went with the Physician's Formula Eye Booster Waterproof Ultra Fine Liquid Eyeliner in Blackest Black with a wing this time. For the waterline I applied Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in Honeydude.

For the lower lash line, I applied Healing and blended it out with Stonewall using my Bubbi Detail brush.
The look sans lashes.

For lashes I used Naime's Lashes in 101 along with the Lash Star Visionary Lash Adhesive in Clear.

Hope that you liked this! :D It was super fun for me to put together! Feel free to request particular songs, animals/nature scenes (I don't do insects of any kind though, sorry, little insect feet and wings creep the bejesus outta me), Pokemon, or Pokemon towns. :P

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Disclaimer: The  Sephora 55.5 brush and Lune+Aster products were provided for testing purposes. Colourpop gave me the lip color as a gift with purchase for being late sending my order out. I paid for everything else you see here myself.
