Candle Review: Trader Joe's Peach Black Tea

Hi folks, so I have another home fragrance post for you.

Candle: Trader Joe's Peach Black Tea
Availability: This currently retails at $3.99 for 5.7 oz. (162g) and is exclusive to physical Trader Joe's stores.
Would I buy this again?: Possibly.
Notes: I heard good things about this candle prior to purchasing it so when I got to the store and gave it a sniff I knew I had to have it. We all know I love tea scents. I will say this sort of gives me Bath & Body Works Scented Candle in Georgia Peach vibes. The tea scent is there but I would say it's subtle.
As the wax warms and burns, the scent intensifies, I will say something that smells citrusy (more on the orange side) comes out to play.
Alright frankly I find that this candle burns a bit unevenly, it does have a very nice throw and scents up my entire room.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Sleeping Mask Review: Trader Joe's Watermelon Overnight Face Mask

'Ello folksickles. Today's review will be for the Trader Joe's Watermelon Overnight Face Mask.

Would I buy this again? I'm not sure yet.

What it is formulated to do:
According to the packaging:
Watermelon is way more than just a cool, crisp treat on a hot summer's day. Turns out, this mighty melon welcomes the opportunity to help refresh and revitalize your skin, too! Fortunately for you, we've formulated Trader Joe's Watermelon Overnight Face Mask with a wagonload of watermelon ingredients - watermelon fruit water, watermelon seed extract, and watermelon fruit extract. This hydrating formula contains plant-derived squalane, along with botanical extracts and sodium hyaluronate to leave your skin feeling soft and rejuvenated. What are you waiting for? Go to bed and get glowing!

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?

What is the texture like?
This has a slightly balmy, gelatinous texture that feels cooling when applied.

Is it scented?
This has a slightly artificial watermelon scent, reminiscent of watermelon juice mixed with watermelon Jolly Ranchers

My overall experience/comments on the product:
I remember hearing good things about this mask last year but ended up missing out on it so when I saw it in stores again I figured now was my chance! This leaves my skin feeling very smooth and hydrated. I feel that it helped booth smooth out the eczema patch I have on my chin and to soothe it because it was much less red and angry-looking the day after I had used this mask. I will need to use it more long-term to see if I'd like to get it again.

Lip Gloss Review: NYX Cherry Skimmed this is milky Gloss

NYX this is milky Gloss in Cherry Skimmed

Availability: This is available at ulta.com along with their physical store locations as well as  nyxcosmetics.com. The retail pricing is $8.50 for 0.13 oz. (4 mL).
Would I buy this? I'm not sure.
Notes: I would describe the color of this as being a milk chocolate mauve.  This is a beautiful color and the texture is very smooth without any stickiness or tackiness. It smells sugary and sweet with caramel notes, I'd describe the scent as a crème brulee. Overall, the actual gloss stayed put for about 2-3 hours; my lips did stay soft but I wish it wore for a bit longer, it looks really pretty on.

Love It Or Leave It; Review 2.0: ColourPop coast to coral Pressed Powder Palette

Hello folksickles. As a makeup junkie and blogger you may have realized that I review a LOAD of eyeshadow palettes and I like to think of myself as being largely an eyeshadow junkie. In order to de-clutter a bit  I've decided to pick out a palette or series of eyeshadows for the month and have that be my monthly selection for those instances where I'm not doing a tutorial for the blog. Every month I'll do a recap on the eyeshadows - how I feel about them and whether I'll be keeping them or giving them away (and why :P) as well as if I think it's worth its price tag.

You can find a look I did with the palette here. These are the looks I created this month:
So as you can see I created some soft, yet colorful looks with this palette. I feel like after these last two palettes that I used  - the ColourPop main squeeze Pressed Powder Palette and the ColourPop wine & only Pressed Powder Palette, I am so glad to move onto a palette that I feel more comfortable with. Although I love playing with color, I am still not comfortable with wearing red on my eyes especially in such a consistent manner so I was honestly looking forward to doing something softer. I am really enjoying this palette because the looks are soft, wearable, yet colorful. The quality is great here - everything is well-pigmented, applies smoothly, and blends easily.

ColourPop In The Limelight Pressed Powder Palette Look

Hey folks! Today I bring you a fun, green look. Although it wasn't intentional, this look reminds me of the Morphe Boss Mood Palette Look I did a few years ago.

Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
I  applied the blush from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette as a base for Hourglass Blush in Mood Flush with my Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5. I also applied highlight from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette using my Sephora Collection #74 PRO Small Blush and Contour brush as a base for Star Power.
As a base for my eyeshadow I applied MAKE UP FOR EVER I-30 AQUA MATIC and blended it out with my Crown Pro C511 brush.
For the crease I applied Miami along with Lay Out with the wet n wild Crease Brush and Crown Pro C511 Brush, respectively.
For the lid I applied Booked wet with the wet n wild Rose Addiction Photo Focus 3-in-1 Primer Water using my Crown Pro C510 brush.
To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Colourpop Lux and Star Power over NYX Milk Jumbo Eye Pencil using my no-name gigantic paddle brush from Crown and Crown Pro C528 brush, respectively.
For eyeliner I applied the Physicians Formula Eye Booster Waterproof Ultra-Fine Liquid Eyeliner with a nice cat eye; I also applied Urban Decay 24/7 Junkie Glide-On Eye Pencil to the waterline.
For the lower lash line, I applied Almost Famous using my Bubbi Detail brush.
The look sans falsies.
For lashes I used Winsome Lash 3D Faux Mink Lashes in Cloudless along with the Duo Quick Set Adhesive.
Hope that you liked this! :D It was super fun for me to put together!
