Lip Balm Review: Pure Smile Snail Lip Treatment Honey

Today's lip balm review is going to be on Pure Smile Snail Lip Treatment Honey
Availability: This appears to have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Yes, if I could find it.
Notes: I remember being so hesitant to try this and being so blown away by how hydrating this is and how great it is for cold sores because it genuinely helps heal them and makes them go away quickly. Definitely worth checking out.

Moisturizer Review: Edmong Honeybee Water Cream

Today's review will be for the Edmong Honeybee Water Cream
AvailabilityI'm not seeing this being sold anywhere.

Would I buy this?: Probably not.

What is this product designed to address?
I mean, I'm just going to state the obvious - this is a honey-based gel moisturizer.

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
This is what I've been able to find on someone else's review - given that I've discarded the packaging I can't tell you exact details:
Onsen (Japanese Hot Spring) Water: Has hydrating and rejuvenating properties.
Glycerin: A humectant, attracts moisture to skin.
Honey Extract: Has antibacterial, antioxidant, hydrating, and anti-inflammatory properties.
Propolis Extract: Has antiseptic, restorative, and healing properties.
Menthol: Gives the skin a cooling sensation.

What is the texture like?
This has a gelatinous feel to it that turns watery as it's rubbed in.

Is it scented?
This has a fresh, clean, sweet scent.

My overall experience/comments on the product:
I really like the burst of moisture sensation that this gives the skin as you rub it in. It's very nice and refreshing. Overall I'd say it's a great summertime moisturizer but given its ability to hydrate I'd say that it's nice year-round. It makes my skin feel very soft and smooth.

Moisturizer Review: Chamos Acaci Pomegranate Anti-Wrinkle Cream

Today's review will be for the Chamos Acaci Pomegranate Anti-Wrinkle Cream.
AvailabilityTo be frank with you, I'm not seeing this sold on any website that seems credible, if you want to purchase it do so at your own risk.

Would I buy this again?: Possibly.

What is this product designed to address?
According to mishibox.com:
The Chamos Pomegranate Anti-Wrinkle Cream is a light weight water drop cream formulated to provide moisturizing, balancing and anti-aging boost for your skin. Pomegranate extract supplies nutrients to new cells for a smoother and tighter look. Aloe vera juice acts an emollient that provides a protective layer to that moisturizes, softens, heals and minimizes inflammation. The olive oil breaks up the free radicals that often cause disease and aging.
The Chamos Pomegranate Anti-Wrinkle Cream will reduce pore size, rejuvenate the skin, protect against premature skin aging while providing antibacterial protection and balancing the oily skin functions to minimize new wrinkles.

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Unfortunately I have long ago discarded the box for this so I'm just going to go with what's listed above.
Aloe Vera Juice: Has anti-inflammatory properties.
Pomegranate Extract: Helps boost collagen production.
Olive Oil: Is rich in anti-oxidant vitamins, hydrates the skin, has anti-inflammatory properties.

What is the texture like?
This has a fluffy cream gel texture that disappears into the skin.

Is it scented?
This has a very faint, soft, sweet scent.

My overall experience/comments on the product:
It's a shame that this isn't easy to get your hands on because its texture is absolutely sublime. It hydrates the skin beautifully yet is also lightweight and fast-absorbing. Plus it leaves the skin feeling very smooth and silky.

Moisturizer Review: The Skin House Aloe Soothing Vitamin Gel

Today's review will be for The Skin House Aloe Soothing Vitamin Gel

AvailabilityGiven that this is a product sold internationally it doesn't appear as though the price point is regulated but I am seeing the price range on this from around $15 - $30. You can purchase it at yesstyle.com and beautykoreabox.com.

Would I buy this?: Probably not.

What is this product designed to address?
According to yesstyle.com:
Benefits:
This non-sticky gel contains Aloe Vera Leaf extract for soothing and 6 kinds of vitamins to provide nourishment to your skin.
Brightens dull and fatigued skin and reduces the appearances of blemishes, freckles and pigmentation.
Moisturizes your dry, flaky skin for a healthy-looking complexion.
Use as body lotion, cooling mask pack, sleeping mask.
Cools down your skin's temperature to soothe instantly and protects skin from external stimulus.

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Other than what's mentioned above:
Niacinamide: Reduces skin's inflammation.
Peony Extract: Has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Tomato Extract: Helps balance skin's pH and regulates sebum production.

What is the texture like?
This has a gelatinous feel to it, it drives rather tacky.

Is it scented?
This has a fresh, clean scent.

My overall experience/comments on the product:
I like this in the sense that it feels refreshing and hydrating on the skin and when applied over serums it doesn't really feel all that sticky. That said though, it is rather sticky on its own which I don't really love. It's also very lightweight in its hydration so I find that it's best used as a summertime moisturizer.

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Once again, according to eminenceorganics.com:
Strawberry: cleanser and astringent; contains Salicylic acid that gently exfoliates and removes impurities to brighten skin’s appearance and shrink the appearance of pores
Rhubarb: a good source of ascorbic acid and vitamins to fight the look of wrinkles
Lactic Acid: sloughs off dead skin cells to improve texture of skin
Rice: gentle exfoliant; buffs and smooths skin texture
Chickpea Flour: tightens the look of pores; absorbs excess oil and helps to buff and smooth skin’s appearance
Heilmoor Clay: contains high amounts of organic compounds and mineral trace elements to deep clean and soften the skin
Oat Flour: deeply cleanses and smooths
BioComplex: a booster of antioxidants, Coenzyme Q10, and Alpha Lipoic Acid to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve the appearance of skin

What is the texture like?
I'd describe the texture as being very fine-grit, it's definitely "scrubby" feeling but it's a very soft exfoliation. I love that it gives you the benefit of both a physical and chemical exfoliator while being fairly gentle. Unless your skin is super sensitive, gets inflamed easily, or you're allergic to any of the ingredients in this, I'd say it's very gentle.

Is this scented?
This smells like fresh strawberries - I LOVE it.

What has my experience with the product been like?
Alright friends, I absolutely am shocked by this time. Since the very first time I used it it gave me baby smooth skin and I just adore the way it smells. This doesn't really foam up at all, even when you add water to it, but honestly I don't mind - I don't expect my scrubs to foam. Overall, this is my favorite exfoliator of the moment and the best one I've used in a long time.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

This has a watery feeling.

Is this scented?
This has a strong floral scent with a hint of mangosteen - it's a bit earthy too. I think it's nice.

What has my experience with the product been like?
Honestly this feels super refreshing. I purchased this because it's meant to refine the pores and while I haven't used this regularly enough to see a pore-refining benefit, it does feel very nice to apply and use.
