NARS Extreme Effects Eyeshadow Palette Look

Hey folks! Today I bring you a soft, slightly smoky sparkly look.

Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
I  applied the blush from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette as a base for Hourglass Iridescent Rose Strobe Blush with my Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5. I also applied illuminator from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette as a base for Hourglass Dim Light Finishing Powder using my Sephora Collection #74 PRO Small Blush and Contour brush.
As a base for my eyeshadow I applied Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Color Stick in Rose Gold and blended it out with my Crown Pro C511 brush.
For the crease I applied Take Control along with Staredown with the Sonia Kashuk Essential Blending Crease Brush No. 273 and Crown Pro C511 Brush, respectively.
For the lid  I applied Pulsing wet using my  Crown Pro C510 brush and Physicians Formula Rose All Stay Setting Spray
To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Roleplay and Endowed using my no-name gigantic paddle brush from Crown and Crown Pro C528 brush, respectively.
For the lower lash line, I applied Endowed using my Bubbi Detail brush.
The look sans falsies.
For lashes I used  Colourpop Faux Mink False Lashes in Bella along with the Duo Brush On Adhesive.
For lips, I applied the Colourpop Just A Tint Lip Crayon in Maui Wowie and topped it off with  the blush from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette and NARS Audacious Lipstick in Deborah.

Hope that you liked this! :D It was super fun for me to put together!

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Disclaimer: The Sephora 55.5 brush, Hourglass, NARS (the lipstick specifically), Laura Mercier, and Lune+Aster products were provided for testing purposes.  I paid for everything else you see here myself.

NARS Extreme Effects Eyeshadow Palette Review

Today I bring to you the NARS Extreme Effects Eyeshadow Palette

AvailabilityThis appears to have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again? I'm not sure.
NotesOk so this palette was originally $59 and the thing is, at my store, we displayed it closed in the box so I didn't even know what this palette looked like. I remember that we got an email saying that it was on markdown and I'm like "I don't even know what this palette looks like and it's $39 now" so I opened it up and just knew that the color story is one that I really wanted to get my hands on. Well, the rest is history.
Endowed is described as a shimmering duo chrome neutral, I'd say this is an off-white with an intense champagne pearl and silver micro-glitter.
Roleplay is described as a matte beige, I'd say this is a soft, fair, pinky flesh-tone with tiny silver micro-shimmer flecks .
Take Control is described as a shimmering bronze, um... no... I'd describe this color as a matte mid-tone reddish brown.
Private Eye is described as a shimmering deep wine, I agree with their description.
Pulsing is described as a shimmering light copper, I'd say it's  a metallic coppery gold.
Full Potential is described as a matte mauve pink, I'd  say this is a matte brownish mauve.
Blow is described as a bright pink peach, I'd say it's a soft mid-tone peachy pink.
Tantric is described as a shimmering soft rose, I'd say that this is a shimmering soft golden pink.
All The Way is described as a(n) orange pink with gold shimmer,  I'd say this is more of a red than a pink, but otherwise I agree with that description.
Code Red is described as a burn brown red, I'd say this is a brownish black base with an intense reddish copper pearl.
Staredown is described as a shimmering purple, I'd say this is the brownish mauve base with pink and magenta micro-glitter.
Uncensored Black is described as a blackest black, lol no, it's always these softer blacks that have the audacity to call themselves the "blackest black" - it's absolutely not. That said, this shade is still fairly dark, it's a soft black with silver micro-glitter pearl.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

DisclaimerI purchased this myself.
