Love It Or Leave It; Review 2.0: Sleek Makeup i-Divine E10 Palette

Hello folks. As a makeup junkie and blogger you may have realized that I review a LOAD of eye shadow palettes and I like to think of myself as being largely an eye shadow junkie. In order to de-clutter a bit  I've decided to pick out a palette or series of eye shadows for the month and have that be my monthly selection for those instances where I'm not doing a tutorial for the blog. Every month I'll do a recap on the eye shadows - how I feel about them and whether I'll be keeping them or giving them away (and why :P) as well as if I think it's worth its price tag.

You can find a look I did with the palette here. These are the looks I created this month:

So as you can see I created all sorts of colorful and slightly smoky looks with these shadows. Generally speaking, the quality of this palette is fantastic - the shades have great color payoff and blend together easily. That said, I will be passing this palette along. The reason for that is I feel that I have dupes for nearly all of the shades here in other palettes that I'm more likely to reach for. I haven't reached for this palette before when I wanted to wear shades like those in it, and likely won't start now. I'm sure when I was purchasing it though, that nearly all the shades with the exception of the charcoal looked pretty to me. Alas, I'll be passing this along.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Disclaimer: I purchased this myself. All opinions are my own.

Sleek Makeup i-Divine E10 Palette Look

Today I bring you a fun, smoky blue look.

Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
Products used: I applied Color from the MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Sculpting Palette in 20 and blended it out with my Etude House My Beauty Tool Secret Brush 121 Skin (not shown) as a base for the blush at the top right of the e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Total Face Palette which I applied using my Sephora Collection PRO Mini Airbrush 55.5. I also applied the highlighters (both) from the MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Sculpting Palette in 20 with the Etude House brush (not shown) as a base for the highlighter in the e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Total Face Palette which I applied with my Sephora Collection #74 PRO Small Blush and Contour brush.

As a base for my powder eyeshadows I applied the MAKE UP FOR EVER Aquamatic in D-21  and blended it out with my Crown Pro C511 Brush

For the crease I applied the mid-tone shimmery turquoise  along with the lilac-lavender with my Sigma E40 Tapered Blending brush and Crown Pro C511 Brush, respectively.

For the lid I applied the mid-tone shimmery blue using my  Crown Pro C510 Brush

To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Urban Decay Foxy and  the cool shimmery pink with white pearl using my no-name gigantic paddle brush from Crown and Crown Deluxe Precision Crease brush, respectively

For eyeliner, I went with Essence Eyeliner Pen WaterproofFor the waterline I applied Stila Turquoise Smudge Stick.

For the lower lash-line, I applied the intense copper with pink pearl using my Bubbi Detail brush.

The look sans lashes.

For lashes I used Ardell Faux Mink Lashes in #811 along with Duo Brush-On Lash Glue in Clear.
For lips, I applied Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Thistle.

Hope that you liked this! :D It was super fun for me to put together! Feel free to request particular songs, animals/nature scenes (I don't do insects of any kind though, sorry, little insect feet and wings creep the bejesus outta me), Pokemon, or Pokemon towns. :P

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Disclaimer: The MAKE UP FOR EVER, Sephora 55.5 Brush, and Bite products were provided for testing purposes; the e.l.f. palette was gifted to me. I paid for everything else you see here myself.
