Lipstick Review: NYX Betrayal Wicked Lippie

NYX Wicked Lippie in Betrayal
AvailabilityThis has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: I want to say yes.
NotesNYX describes this color as a deep vamp purple with pearl. I'd describe this color as being a very deep, blackened purple with a hint of a metallic sheen. It has a very moisturizing feel to it. This goes on opaque and lasts really well unless you're eating, which I'm ok with. It has a traditional lipstick scent/flavor, kind of perfume-y but also somewhat plastic-y.

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions. :)

Disclaimer: I bought this myself.

Lipstick Review: Marc Jacobs 206 Dashing Le Marc Lip Creme

Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme in 206 Dashing
Availability: This has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: I want to say yes.
Notes: This color is described as very cherry. I'd have to agree. A very beautiful cherry red.  This has a comfortable wear and feels quite silky/velvety on the lips. It goes on opaque and lasts really well unless you're eating, which I'm ok with. It has a slightly sweet scent/flavor.

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions. :)

Lipstick Review: Marc Jacobs 240 So Rouge Le Marc Lip Creme

Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme in 240 So Rouge
Availability: This appears to have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: If it were available, I'd consider it.
Notes: I'd say this is a beautiful bright, true red; a very classic pin-up red.  This has a very comfortable wear and feels quite silky/velvety on the lips. It goes on opaque and lasts really well unless you're eating, which I'm ok with. It has a slightly sweet scent/flavor.
Please let me know if you have any comments or questions. :)

Disclaimer: I received this as part of Sephora's 2015 VIB Rouge Renewal kit, I'm pretty sure they have a new little gift every year.

ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip Review: The Rabbit

Ok you folks, there is so much buzz about these that I wanted to pick them up and play with them.
AvailabilityThis has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again? Yes.
The  Rabbit is described as a bright fuchsia with a subtle blue sheen. On me this color is just as described. I love the texture of these - they dry really smooth, feel weightless and will dry to a matte finish without that super matte feel, so if your lips tend to dry out from mattes or you don't like that dry feeling, this will give you that look without that feel. I kind of like that this isn't super matte on account of I think a more moisturizing texture suits this kind of shade better, if that makes any sense. They wear comfortably and don't feel dry, although they will emphasize lip texture; they don't bleed or move; and they stay on through eating for the most part. You'll only have to re-apply in the center of the lips and you can layer this without worrying about it peeling off the under layers or creating more texture. That said these go on opaque and don't need much layering, if at all.

Blush Review: NYX Soft Flush Ombre Blush

Today's blush review is going to be on NYX Ombre Blush in Soft Flush
From left to right: (attempt at) ombre effect, the top shimmery shade, the bottom matte shade, blended together
AvailabilityThis appears to have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again? Yes.
NotesNYX describes this color as being a pink champagne that fades into a bright coral. I'd say it's a rose (pinky-white) champagne shade that fades off into a coral/strawberry pink situation. I think the color is absolutely lovely. Moving on, the texture of this is nice, it's pretty smooth and blends well. I like how they give you a really generously sized pan as well.

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

peripera 7 Be Trendy Wholly Deep Jewel Pot Review

Ok but after Tati used and raved about these on her channel I had to go out and get them.
AvailabilityThese have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again? I think I would.
NotesAlright, so texture-wise all of this is really soft, creamy, and has a lot of pigment payoff. These contain amethyst and diamond powder which make them crazy sparkling and they're supposed to be long-lasting. I'd describe this color as a metallic pink chocolate shade with loads of silver sparkles.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
