Lipstick Review: Bite Beauty Blanc Matte Creme Lip Crayon

Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Blanc
Availability: This has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Not sure
NotesSephora describes this color as a blanc. I'd have to agree with that - it's just a plain matte white that's semi-opaque.  This is a great color to use as an accent, to create an ombre effect or to lighten/brighten another color. I personally love to use it with tangerine shades because it makes them into a lovely rose shade, whether used as an ombre effect in the center of the lips, or all over. The formula of this is wonderful - smooth, creamy, easy to apply. I want to say it lasts for around 4-6 hours. What I absolutely love about it though (although I nearly always pair with a balm so... :/) is that the wear is ultra comfortable, not dry or tight at all. Overall, I like that it doesn't feather too much either. It's got a lovely zingy/citrusy fruit scent/flavor. Fun fact: Bite Beauty is 100% food grade. That means you can technically eat their lipsticks. Now, they're not the cheapest snack you could buy but I suppose if you're feeling a bit indulgent...

Mascara Review: Sephora Collection The Mascara

Alright folksickles...

Today I will be reviewing the Sephora Collection The Mascara
Without mascara
With mascara
Availability: This has been discontinued.
Would I buy this?: I'm not sure.
Notes: This only comes in black.
Let's go over what the mascara's supposed to do and what it actually does. It's marketed as a volumizing, lengthening, and defining mascara.
Alright so... for me I feel like this mascara really delivers - it gives me noticeable volume, length, and separation. I like the brush on this because it's small-ish and easy to fit around the lashes and makes it really easy to build the mascara up. I think it's pretty good, it definitely makes a noticeable difference in both length and volume.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. Thanks!

Mascara Review: Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara

Alright folksickles...

Today I will be reviewing the Mar Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara in Noir
Without mascara
With mascara
Availability: This has been discontinued.
Would I buy this?: No.
Notes: Firstly, as the name implies, this is only available in black.
Let's go over what the mascara's supposed to do and what it actually does. It's marketed as a volumizing mascara that's supposed to thicken and add dimension for "epic" lashes that look "thick and false."
Alright so... for me I feel like this mascara is really nice, it gives me a lot of length, volume, and is separating, which I like. It doesn't make my lashes look false but it's absolutely more on the dramatic side of things and I think it's a pretty nice mascara thus far.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. Thanks!

peripera 10 Be Lovely Wholly Deep Jewel Pot Review

Ok but after Tati used and raved about these on her channel I had to go out and get them.
AvailabilityThese have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again? I think I would.
NotesAlright, so texture-wise all of this is really soft, creamy, cream-to-powder type product.

Tese contain amethyst and diamond powder which make them crazy sparkling and they're supposed to be long-lasting. I'd describe this color as a warm pink base with loads of golden and pink shimmer particles. It can read very coral-like and is kind of mermaid magic to me because it can be an eyeshadow, a blush, a highlight, a center-of-the-lips glowing thing. I dig it.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Disclaimer: I bought this myself.

What is the texture like?
This has a very liquidy texture that dries to a soft, easy-to-peel-off film.

Is it scented?
This smells a bit like a pina colada or a tropical fruit cocktail... I ain't mad at it.

My overall experience/comments on the product:
I don't know how to explain what this product does for my skin because normally a product that uses the word "firm" doesn't have a difference on my skin at all and that's because my skin doesn't particularly suffer a loss of elasticity. However, it feels more firm when I remove this mask in a way that's not harsh. I guess I associate the word "firm" with the word "tight" like... if you pull in your stomach muscles and feel that tightening sensation, that's what I think of as "firming" and this just... kind of makes my face feel less puffy like... a de-bloat of the face. I dig it. The film is super easy to remove (but please peel it off, don't try rinsing it off that's a pain in the butt and ends up taking a long time to remove) and doesn't hurt or peel of layers of skin when it comes off which I appreciate, super gentle. My skin is left feeling super soft and glowing. I dig this stuff.
