Love It Or Leave It; Review 2.0: Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Collection Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 3

Hello folksickles. As a makeup junkie and blogger you may have realized that I review a LOAD of eyeshadow palettes and I like to think of myself as being largely an eyeshadow junkie. In order to de-clutter a bit  I've decided to pick out a palette or series of eyeshadows for the month and have that be my monthly selection for those instances where I'm not doing a tutorial for the blog. Every month I'll do a recap on the eyeshadows - how I feel about them and whether I'll be keeping them or giving them away (and why :P) as well as if I think it's worth its price tag.

You can find a look I did with the palette here. These are the looks I created this month:
So as you can see I created some smoky, some bright, overall really colorful looks. I feel like using a randomizer (I use the Decide Now! app) to pick a series of 5 eyeshadows and create a look with them really kept me on my toes with this palette, especially with the ridiculous way it's arranged - I had to get creative because sometimes I'd get combinations that I thought surely wouldn't work together but I really loved how the look came together in the end. The colors in here are very vivid and last really well throughout the day without creasing or fading (I use them over the wet n wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer) I honestly love the versatility of the colors included in this palette; they all blend together really easily and well. I think this would be a great palette for both spring and fall specifically but it's honestly beautiful regardless of the season and it's definitely a keeper for me.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Cleanser Review: Kose softymo Washing Foam Collagen

'Ello folksickles. Today's review will be for the Kose softymo Washing Foam Collagen.

AvailabilityThis retails anywhere from $7-$20 for 150g and can be purchased at amazon.com, stylevana.com, yesstyle.com, tesolife.com, and japanesetaste.com.

Would I buy this again?: Probably not.

What is this product designed to address?

According to yesstyle.com:
Collagen-enriched facial cleanser removes makeup and impurities from skin while infusing it with collagen to keep it soft, smooth and young-looking.

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Glycerin: Attracts moisture to the skin.
Lauric Acid: Has anti-microbial properties.
Hydrolyzed Collagen, Water-Soluble Collagen: Attracts moisture to the skin and has hydrating properties.
Soymilk Fermented Liquid: Has hydrating properties.
Silk: Has hydrating and soothing properties.

What is the texture like?
This has my beloved cushiony hydrating cleanser texture that creates a thick, fluffy, hydrating foam in contact with water.

Is it scented?
This doesn't have a discernible scent.

My overall experience/comments on the product:
This is just a first impression but I have to say this reminds me a lot of the SENKA Perfect Whip Collagen in Perfect Face Cleansing Foam. I think I personally prefer the SENKA Perfect Whip Collagen in Perfect Face Cleansing Foam because I find it slightly more hydrating, but I will have to use this more long-term to decide which one I prefer. That being said, given that I've used cleansers I can only describe at being mediocre at best all of last year, this is a welcome reprieve as it already makes my skin feel more hydrated and silky. Additionally, if you're someone that shaves due to PCOS or any other reason, this creates a very comfortable shaving foam that doesn't irritate my skin.

Love It Or Leave It; Review 2.0: Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Collection Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 2

Hello folksickles. As a makeup junkie and blogger you may have realized that I review a LOAD of eyeshadow palettes and I like to think of myself as being largely an eyeshadow junkie. The colors in here are very vivid and last really well throughout the day without creasing or fading (I use them over the wet n wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer) I honestly love the versatility of the colors included in this palette; my only gripe is that I feel that the mattes, especially the darker ones, give me a tough time when I go to blend them, I think you can see the slight skipping in some of my looks, I'll be holding onto this for now but I'm unsure how often I'll reach for it given that issue.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Candle Review: OPALHOUSE Sparkling Yuzu Scented Soy Candle

Hi folks, so I have another home fragrance post for you.

Candle: OPALHOUSE Scented Soy Candle in Sparkling Yuzu
Availability:  This is available at target.com along with their physical locations (I would call your local target or check the website to see if the brand is carried at your local store). The pricing is as follows:
4.1 oz. - $5
15.1 oz. - $10
21.5 oz. - $15
Would I buy this?: Yes!
Notes: According to target.com this candle is supposed to have the following notes: Create a relaxing and soothing environment for any room in your home with the Lidded Glass Jar Candle in Sparkling Yuzu from Opalhouse™. Infused with the citrusy scent of ripe yuzu, this jar candle brings the rejuvenating scents of summer right to your abode. Just place this candle on any surface or countertop and enjoy a nice bubble bath, yoga session, or even a good book.
I personally find that it smells the same both cold or hot, although the scent is slightly intensified when the candle is burning. It smells delicious, like a cross between yuzu and a tangerine, it's sweeter than yuzu would typically be on its own. The scent is reminiscent of Trader Joe's Mango Tangerine Scented Candle which is a favorite of mine as well.
I find that this candle has a very nice throw and scents up my entire room.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
