Love It Or Leave It; Review 2.0: Huda Beauty Amethyst Obsessions Palette

Hello folksickles. As a makeup junkie and blogger you may have realized that I review a LOAD of eyeshadow palettes and I like to think of myself as being largely an eyeshadow junkie. In order to declutter a bit  I've decided to pick out a palette or series of eyeshadows for the month and have that be my monthly selection for those instances where I'm not doing a tutorial for the blog. Every month I'll do a recap on the eyeshadows - how I feel about them and whether I'll be keeping them or giving them away (and why :P) as well as if I think it's worth its price tag.

You can find a look I did with the palette here. These are the looks I created this month:
So as you can see I created all sorts of colorful, purple looks with these shadows. I personally have found that these shadows are easy to blend and the pigmentation on them is fantastic. All of them work really great, in my experience, with the exception of the left shade in the center row, which can be a bit stubborn when it comes to blending and softening it sometimes. That being said I absolutely love the way these shadows look on me and work with my coloring, I thoroughly enjoyed playing around with this palette.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Nail Polish Review: Ducato nail mine Beginning Smile Nail Polish

Nail polish: Ducato nail mine Nail Polish in Beginning Smile

What the brush looks like:
My nails with three coats of the nail polish, all nails have inm Out the Door Topcoat for Nails on:
Availability: This can be purchased at amazon.com, ducatousa.com, taosbeauty.com, toktokbeauty.com, and yesstyle.com.
Would I buy this again?: No.

Notes: This is described as a vitamin yellow polish. I'd personally describe it as an egg yolk yellow with a pink glitter pearl. I think the color is really pretty but I don't appreciate how sheer it is. On the nails, I didn't find that this wore well. I had it on for a week wherein I painted my nails on a Sunday - there was some visible wear around the Tuesday mark, by this I mean that I could tell it started pulling away from the cuticle/nail edge. I noticed there was a bit of chipping on Tuesday as well and it just continued to chip.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Disclaimer: I purchased this myself.

Nail Polish Review: ORLY Beautifully Bizarre Nail Polish

Nail polish: ORLY Nail Polish in Beautifully Bizarre

What the brush looks like:
My nails with three coats of the nail polish, all nails have inm Out the Door Topcoat for Nails on:
Availability: This can be purchased at any drugstore that carries ORLY nail products; the price varies but it ranges from about $5.25 - $10.50.
Would I buy this again?: Yes.

Notes: This is described as a pearl shimmer polish. I feel like that's such a weak description for what this is. I'd personally describe it as a milky lilac pink with a turquoise pearl. On the nails, this wore really well. I had it on for a week wherein I painted my nails on a Sunday - there was some visible wear around the Wednesday mark, by this I mean that I could tell it started pulling away from the cuticle/nail edge. I noticed there was a bit of chipping on Saturday.

Kose softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil Review

'Ello folksickles. Today's review will be for the Kose softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil.

AvailabilityThis retails anywhere from $9 - $23 for 7.78 fl. oz. (230 mL)  and can be purchased at amazon.com, stylevana.com, yesstyle.com, tesolife.com, and tiktokshop.

Would I buy this again? No.

What is this product? What is it supposed to do?
According to yesstyle.com:
Cleansing oil removes makeup, including stubborn mascara, as well as dead skin cells and excess dirt, without leaving any oily residue. Gentle formula suitable for dry skin brightens and thoroughly cleanses, making double-cleansing unnecessary. Made with five types of oil including olive oil, jojoba oil, sesame oil, safflower oil and shea butter to keep skin moisturized.

Does this contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Olive Oil, Shea Butter: Have hydrating and antioxidant properties.
Sesame Seed Oil: Has anti-inflammatory properties.
Safflower Seed Oil, Corn Germ Oil: Have hydrating properties.
Tocopherol: Vitamin E; has antioxidant properties.
Sunflower Seed Oil: Has hydrating properties, helps repair the skin barrier.
Jojoba Oil: Has anti-inflammatory and hydrating properties.
Glycerin: Attracts moisture to the skin.

What is the texture like?
This is an extremely lightweight oil, it feels hydrating but not greasy.

Is this scented?
This has a faint floral but overall "oily" scent.

What has my experience with the product been like?
I genuinely love how lightweight this feels on the skin but I've found I prefer the Deep version of this because it does a better job of removing my waterproof liner, mascara, and lash glue residue. I feel like this leaves some of those things behind and while I go in with a Makeup Eraser type of cleansing cloth afterwards, I'd rather do less work because that usually requires less tugging and pulling on my skin.

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Love It Or Leave It; Review 2.0: e.l.f. Sunset Prism Eyeshadow, Etude House Cherry Blossoms Popcorn Air Mousse Eyeshadow, and The Face Shop lovely me:ex Sand Brown You & I Eyes

You can find a look I did with the palette here, here, and here. These are the looks I created this month:
So as you can see I created all sorts of soft, romantic looks with these shadows. I personally have found that these shadows are easy to blend and the pigmentation on them is alright but is a bit muted - especially in regards to the e.l.f. palette, I use the other two as eyeshadow toppers. I think the colors themselves are pretty but I will be passing the e.l.f. palette along and I know I have similar shades in my collection that I'm more likely to reach for. I'm giving it to a friend with green eyes and I think the colors will look so pretty on her.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Disclaimer: The e.l.f. palette was a gift from my wife, I paid for the other two eyeshadows myself.
