My overall experience/comments on the product:
Folksickles I'll be real with you, if I could actually afford to purchase this on the regular, I would. Alas I am but a peasant. I'll explain to you why this is as pricey as it is - apparently the rose de mai is a species of rose that blooms for a mere 2 weeks during the month of May (hence the "de mai" name) - it is rich in Vitamin C and has soothing properties. In addition, the base of this isn't just plain old water, it's rose water, which again, drives up its price. Now, personally, I think there's room to make a less pricey alternative with perhaps, more common roses, but I think the price point still wouldn't be very cheap given all the work involved in making rose water and then creating a moisturizer out of it.
Anyhow, this has a beautiful texture that lightly hydrates my skin, it makes my skin feel very silky, reduces my redness slightly (I mean it ain't no squalane, but it helps a bit), and brightens my complexion.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
