Arrivals - March 2019

Ok folksickles! Arrivals feature items I bought this month that are joining my collection; a haul if you will. Without further ado.
1. Everyday Minerals Sunny All Over Shimmer: I remember really enjoying this when I purchased a sample set last time so I decided to pick it up now that I needed to replenish on face powder.

2. Everyday Minerals Rosy Fair 1C Jojoba Base (+ sample): Again, I'm running low on face powder and I remember really liking this one from the last time I made a sample set order so I picked it up again.

3. Everyday Minerals Sample Set: These sets are free as long as you pay for shipping so I decided why not try more product. You can customize these and pick the shades you want - I believe you can pick two base shades/formulas, a cheek color/highlighter, and two primer/setting powders of some sort. I got:
Jojoba Base in Rosy Fair OC and Rosy Ivory 1C
Pink Primer
Pearl Finishing Dust
Lavender Fields Luminous Blush

4. Patchology Poshpeel Pedi Cure: I am writing this on 3/22 and we just received a shipment of these at work so I decided to pick up a two pack for myself and my wife. Y'all know I loved the results I got the first time so I'm excited to get me some soft baby feet again, especially now that the worst of the dry spots has gone... I'm thinking my feet will be softer than ever!

5. So one of my friends was cleaning out her makeup kit and gave me the following palettes  and items because they looked cute lol (she offered me more but this is what I took):
Urban Decay Oz the Great and Powerful - The Glinda Palette
i301 Mellow Blue Eyeshadow
Stila Color Balm Lipstick in Betsey
Kat Von D Foiled Love Lipstick in FTW
Kat Von D Palette in Poetica
Kat Von D Spellbinding Eyeshadow Book Palette
Disney Jasmine Storylook Eyeshadow Palette

6. ColourPop Just My Luck Palette: In case you folks don't know aqua/blue, green, and violet are my favorite colors - probably in that order so this had my eye already and my wife convinced me to get it saying that it was cooler toned versus the other green palettes I've gotten recently. I figured it would play nice with them.

7. ColourPop Supershock Pressed Pigment in Fizz: I mean given that I got the palette I just talked about above, how could I resist? A beautiful bright chartreuse!

8. ColourPop Liquid Liner in Numero Uno: Give my love for pen-style liquid liner and ColourPop recently launching this I figured I might as well pick this up to try since I was getting other items.

9. ColourPop Lippie Stix in Jenneration X: This is really sweet but ColourPop sent this to me free with my order because they were a bit late in sending out my order. You folks know I love red lipsticks so I'm excited to give it a try. :)

10. Lash Star Visionary Lash Adhesive: My current lash glue is getting kind of goopy so I figured I'd replenish. This is pretty comparable to my standby Duo Brush-On Adhesive and House of Lashes Adhesive.

11. Bad Habit Retro Love Palette: Bless my wife - she's been going on about this brand for ages and how I should give it a try but, again, given the volume of my makeup collection I was a bit... hesitant. This is supposed to be a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette. I'm excited to give it a try.

12. wet n wild photo focus Stick Foundation: Between hearing good things about this on the Youtube and loving the wet n wild photo focus Foundation liquid I figured I'd give this a try.

13. Dior Forever Skin Glow in 1CR: This was sent to me for review from Influenster and I am so excited to try it. When I worked at Sephora this was one of my favorite foundations to use on people because it looked very natural, even on skin with texture issues like acne, dryness, or fine lines yet the coverage on it was really build-able. I don't really remember trying it myself - although I might have and simply forgot. Either way I'm curious to see what this reformulation is like.

14. Sonia Kashuk Essential Collection Blending Crease Brush: Given that my current crease brushes have all either kicked the bucket or are on the verge of doing so I decided to pick this up. For years I've heard really great things about Sonia Kashuk brushes but haven't gotten around to playing with any so I figured now is as good a time as any. Plus it was the only single crease brush I could find at Target.

15. Crown Brush SS027 Deluxe Blending Crease Brush: Given that my current crease brushes have all either kicked the bucket or are on the verge of doing so I decided to pick this up. I've had fairly good luck with Crown Brush brushes so I'm excited to test this out.

Disclaimer: I purchased everything listed above with the exception of the Urban Decay, Stila, Kat Von D, Disney Palette, Bad Habit Palette, ColourPop Jenneration X  lipstick and Dior foundation.
