What is this product designed to address?
According to us.innisfree.com:
Newly upgraded formula of our best-selling clay mask – which has earned itself K-Beauty cult status the world over! After continuous research of the absorbent, mineral-rich clusters that made our original clay mask a global sensation, we’ve developed the next generation of Jeju Volcanic Clusters™. This innovative formula is now able to absorb 2x more oil and impurities than the previous version!
This soft, creamy clay mask is ideal for normal, combination and oily skin types. Finely-ground Walnut Shell Powder and AHA remove dead skin cells, while Jeju Volcanic Clusters™ help draw excess oils and impurities from pores.
Apply to your whole face, or target areas where pores frequently become clogged – like your t-zone – for skin that feels cleaner and smoother, and pores that appear smaller.
Volcanic Micro Clay™ Technology
We developed a proprietary process to pulverize the Super Volcanic Clusters™ into particles that are smaller than pores to help remove sebum and fine dust without over-drying skin.
Global Best-Seller
This best-selling mask’s pore-clearing abilities have made it a skincare staple around the world!
Known globally as "Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask 2X."
Super Volcanic Cluster Collection
Infused with twice the amount of clusters as the Volcanic Cluster Collection for even more effective results.
The Story of Jeju Volcanic Clusters™
During the time of volcanic eruptions on Jeju Island, hot lava fragments formed clusters as they solidified. These naturally porous clusters are packed with minerals and have the power to absorb excess oil and impurities from pores.

My overall experience/comments on the product:
I've only used this once so far but I found that it does leave my skin feeling a tad bit tight - I think overall it would be better suited for someone with oilier skin. That said, my skin felt fairly deep-cleansed and smooth when I washed this off. This has a very gentle exfoliating action which I enjoyed.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
