Moisturizer Review: innisfree Nourishing Cream with Canola Honey

Today's review will be for the innisfree Nourishing Cream with Canola Honey

AvailabilityI retails at $28 for 50 mL at us.innisfree.com and sephora.com as well as their physical store locations, along with reputable resellers (I don't have a comprehensive list but if there is a reseller in your area or a website that sells K-beauty that you trust - like yesstyle.com go for it).

Would I buy this?: No.

What is this product designed to address?
According to us.innisfree.com:
This richly textured cream works double-duty to help deeply infuse skin with moisture. Canola Honey from Jeju Island naturally pulls moisture from the air to your skin, while Canola Seed Oil and Glycerin infuse skin with hydration and help strengthen skin’s moisture barrier.
Made with Jeju Canola Honey Extract to help deliver a nourishing veil with no sticky after-feel, just a healthy honey glow.
The Story of Jeju Canola Honey
The vibrant yellow petals of Canola flowers dot the landscape of Jeju Island. In Spring, these beautiful fields yield a rare honey rich in flavonoids and proteins. Canola Honey provides intense nourishment and helps enhance skin's natural radiance by attracting and sealing in surrounding moisture.
Free of parabens, synthetic colors, mineral oil, imidazolidinyl urea
Formulated With Jeju Canola Honey, Jeju Canola Seed Oil, Glycerin, Tocopherol (Vitamin E)
Dermatologically Tested

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Glycerin: Attracts water from the air and binds it into the skin.
Rapeseed Oil: (Canola Oil) Is high in Vitamin E which has anti-oxidant and skin-soothing properties.
Kaolin: Exfoliates and tones the skin, controls oil production.
Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract: Has moisturizing properties.
Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract: Contains high antioxidant levels.
Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract: Has brightening and moisturizing properties, helps revitalize dull skin.
Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract: (Prickly pear) This has anti-inflammatory, brightening, and hydrating properties.
Orchid Extract: Has antioxidant and humectant properties.

What is the texture like?
This has a silky, emollient texture.

Is it scented?
This has a soft, sweet floral scent

My overall experience/comments on the product:
I like the way this smells but frankly it's somewhat too heavy-feeling for my skin. I like that it leaves my skin silky but I also feel that it leaves behind a hydrating film which takes a while to absorb.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
