Nail Polish Review: Smith & Cult Ice Tears Nail Polish

Nail polish: Smith & Cult Nail Polish in Ice Tears

What the brush looks like:
My nails with 3 coats of polish, all nails have ORLY In A Snap Quick-Dry Topcoat on:
Availability: This retails at $18 is available on bluemercury.com as well as its physical store locations along with beautylish.com and smithandcult.com.
Would I buy this again?: Yes!

Notes: This is described as a metallic cerulean. In the bottle I'd definitely say the description fits - this also has a subtle golden pearl and a violet duo-chrome. On the nails, it tends to shift from a beautiful mermaid teal with a violet duo-chrome to an almost cobalt-navy with a violet pearl. It's absolutely beautiful and incredibly mermaid, which makes it super up my alley! This wore really well for a week with very minimal nail tip wear.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Disclaimer: I bought this myself.

'Ello folksickles. Today's review will be for the innisfree Pore Clearing Facial Foam with Volcanic Clusters.

Would I buy this?: Maybe.

What is this product designed to address?

According to sephora.com:

Skin Type: Combination and Oily
Skincare Concerns: Oiliness and Pores
Formulation: Lightweight Gel

What Else You Need to Know: This gentle facial foam whisks away impurities and forms a dense lather with micro-bubbles to cleanse skin. It is infused with Jeju Volcanic Clusters™ with particles smaller than pores that help absorb excess sebum for skin that feels squeaky clean and refreshed.

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Again, according to sephora.com:
- Jeju Volcanic Clusters™: Absorb excess sebum.
- Lactic Acid: Helps exfoliate dead skin cells and minimize the appearance of pores.

What is the texture like?
This has a soft, creamy, hydrating texture that foams up beautifully.

Is it scented?
This has a slightly earthy, clean scent to it.

My overall experience/comments on the product:
While I can't say that this cleanser has made a noticeable difference in my pores I also can't say it's any worse than anything else I've used. I really like the soft, foamy texture of this cleanser and how it's meant to be deep cleaning but it isn't drying at all.

ColourPop wine & only Pressed Powder Palette Look

Hey folks! Today I bring you a fun twist on a smoky look.

Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
I  applied the blush from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette as a base for Hourglass Mood Flush Blush with my Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5. I also applied e.l.f. Shimmer Highlighting Powder in Pearl Glow sing my Sephora Collection #74 PRO Small Blush and Contour brush as a base for ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Over the Moon.
As a base for my eyeshadow I applied Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Color Stick in Rose Gold and blended it out with my Crown Pro C511 brush.
For the crease I applied sip sip along with major chianti with the wet n wild Crease Brush and Crown Pro C511 Brush, respectively.
For the lid  I applied mon sherry wet using Eau Thermale Avene and deepened the look with vinter on the outer corner using my Crown Pro C510 brush.
To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Inglot 353M and blanc using my no-name gigantic paddle brush from Crown and Crown Pro C528 brush, respectively.
For eyeliner I applied the Physicians Formula Eye Booster Waterproof Ultra-Fine Liquid Eyeliner in Black with a nice cat eye. For the waterline I  applied Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Color Stick in Mint.
For the lower lash line, I applied grapeful using my Bubbi Detail brush.
The look sans falsies.
For lashes I used Kiss So Wispy Lashes in 09 along with the Duo Brush On Adhesive.
For lips, I applied the Clinique Sweet Pots Sugar Scrub & Lip Balm in Black Honey and topped it off with  the blush from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette and Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Chai.

Hope that you liked this! :D It was super fun for me to put together!

Please let me know if you have any comments in questions.

Disclaimer: The Sephora 55.5 brush, Clinique, Hourglass, Bite Beauty, and Lune+Aster products were provided for testing purposes.  I paid for everything else you see here myself.

ColourPop wine & only Pressed Powder Palette Review

Today I bring to you the ColourPop wine & only Pressed Powder Palette

AvailabilityThis is exclusive to colourpop.com where it retails at $14 for 9 eyeshadows (1.10 g / 0.04 oz. each).
Would I buy this again? I'm not sure.
Notes: I remember being so excited when this palette launched because it's a color story that's fairly unique, we don't see too many very reddish burgundy palettes so I decided to give it a try.
blanc is described as a metallic warm rose gold, I'd say this is a soft metallic copper base with a rose pearl.
sip sip is described as a matte sparkle mid-tone rose with hot pink pinpoints, I'd say this is a matte muted raspberry with hot pink micro-glitter specks.
major chianti is described as a matte mauve rose, I'd say this is a matte plummy cranberry.
cast a chateau is described as a  metallic raspberry with a vibrant pink duo-chrome,  I'd say this is a soft copper base with a pink pearl.
play to wine is described as a metallic true ruby, I'd agree with that description. This shade is beautiful and is my favorite metallic shade in the palette.
mull it over is described as a matte rich berry, I'd agree with their description.
vinter is described as a matte deep merlot, I'd say this is a matte plummy red.
mon sherry is described as a metallic black cherry with hot pink pearl, I really like their description and agree with it.
grapeful is described as a matte sparkle deep plum with gold pearl, I'd agree with their description and add that the gold is more of a glitter fleck versus a pearl; this also has silver and pink glitter flecks.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
