wet n wild The Pride Metallic Palette Review

Behold the wet n wild The Pride Metallic Palette

Availability: This is available at wetnwildbeauty.com where it retails at $14.99, it is now simply called "The Metallic Palette" but the shades look to be the same.
Would I buy this?: Probably not.
Notes: I feel like, especially because we are in pride month, that I need to call this palette out for being a perfect example of rainbow capitalism. I'm all about celebrating pride, don't get me wrong but it looks like they took an existing palette and wrapped it in rainbow packaging to make it appealing to the LGBTQ+ community and ok, say you were to buy this palette, your rainbow is essentially either missing or very muted, depending on how you look at the palette. Nothing about this color story says pride to me and personally that's what makes me disappointed in the palette. In addition, all the shades here are some variation of being either shimmery or metallic, I wish that there was texture variation here because it makes the palette difficult to use as a standalone.
Without further ado, swatchfest!
