Would I buy this again?: Yes!
Notes: I'd describe this as a cool-toned, holographic indigo. This is such a fun color! I thought the base of it was going to be more red based on what it looks like in the bottle but I'm not at all mad about it. I loved looking at my nails when I had this on.  In terms of wear, this chipped lightly within five days of having it on, mostly on the tips of my nails and began to look more gnarly with the 7th day of wear, which is when I removed it. Given that my nails are on the longer side when I wore this, chipping does tend to happen more frequently when my nails are long.

Glycerin: Helps attract moisture to the skin.

What is the texture like?

This has a gel-cream texture that feels cooling and refreshing when applied.

This has an herbaceous, tea-like scent.

Overall I really like the texture of this, how lightweight and refreshing it is while providing my skin with a lot of moisture.

Highlighter Review: rms beauty grande dame luminizing powder

BEHOLD the rms beauty luminizing powder in grande dame.

Would I buy this? No.

Notes: The color is described as an alluring moonlight champagne luminosity.  I'd say that this is a subtle gold champagne with the slightest hint of pink. This is a really pretty subtle highlighter that honestly, is just too subtle for my own tastes. I prefer something with a stronger, more metallic, beaming presence to it.

Notes: I'd describe this as a holographic Caribbean blue turquoise. This is such a fun color, I obviously had to have it! I loved looking at my nails when I had this on.  In terms of wear, this chipped lightly within five days of having it on, mostly on the tips of my nails and began to show signs of wear/growth within the 6th day of wear.

wet n wild Sparkling Star Oh My Star Complexion Trio Review

Would I buy this? I'm not sure, I think it's cute and inexpensive.

Notes: wet n wild sent this to me as a gift with purchase and honestly I didn't really know how I'd feel about it but in person it looks really cute and I'm shocked but it actually has a sweet tart candy scent to it.

Blush - This is a soft, warm, bubblegum pink shade. It looks warmer and more peachy in the palette but I'd describe it as more of a bubblegum.

Highlighter - This is an off-white base with golden teal and bluish micro-glitter particles in it.

Glitter Topper - This is a mix of holographic star and moon glitter pieces with larger chunks of silver-to-orange and silver-to-violet hexagonal glitters and smaller chunks of orange and green glitter.

This has a very faint, paint-like scent that, frankly, I only notice if I'm smelling the applicator directly. 

What has my experience with the product been like?

I really like the coverage this gives me but I feel like it's hard to shade match with the concealer. Based on me being a Shell Ivory in the foundation, the system told me I was Light Ivory in the concealer but I feel like this concealer is a touch too dark. I can make it work but overall if it was a shade or two lighter I think it would work better. I do like that it has a rosy, peachy undertone which helps to cancel out any under-eye darkness. That being said, my face powder did cake up on top of this concealer. I'm unsure if it's the face powder (I'm currently using the Coty Airspun) or the concealer.

What do I use to apply the product? 

I apply this with  my e.l.f. Cosmetics Total Face Sponge.

A panel of women were tested in a controlled environment simulating seven different lighting scenarios, with professionally-applied concealer, foundation and/or powder, and took their own selfies with top smartphones. What's the coverage/consistency like?

I would describe the consistency as being creamy. This has a full coverage with a soft, natural, matte finish.

This has a subtle paint-like scent to it.

What has my experience with the product been like?

Allegedly, this is the original formula of the foundation when it first launched. I had a bottle back in 2017 and remember really liking it. Unfortunately that review has been deleted so I am writing a new one.

Pros:

-Consistency is really smooth, easy to blend and apply
-Good coverage

- Finish looks like healthy skin

-Lightweight

- Color is a good match for my skin-tone

Cons:

- formula is thicker than I remember (not really a con but it's something I noticed and don't like as much)

Personally, I remember the original formula being more liquid-y and having a more overall "natural" finish versus this. I would argue that this is slightly more silicone-heavy (or something that feels like silicone) because it has a little of that pore-blurring mattifying effect to it. Despite that, this didn't dry my skin out at all and felt comfortable on. It wore really well for nearly 12 hours (which is the point at which I went and washed my face). 

What do I use to apply the product?

I apply this with  my e.l.f. Cosmetics Total Face Sponge.

What has my experience with the product been like?

Pros:

-Consistency is really smooth, easy to blend and apply
-Good coverage

- Finish looks like healthy skin

-Lightweight

- Color is a good match for my skin-tone

-Beautiful natural dewy finish

Cons:

- it smells unpleasant while you're applying it (on the plus side, the scent doesn't linger)

- I wish this came in a pump bottle and/or one with a wider neck vs just having the weird little paddle thing on it.

I would say that overall this gives really good coverage. I really like its consistency and how silky it feels going on to the skin, I didn't need a whole lot of product to achieve full coverage, my skin looked great. In my opinion this wears very comfortably and I'm honestly impressed that not only did it stay put all day, it was very easy to blend out the marks my glasses left when I went out in the evening (some foundations don't want to move at all, or get cakey when I try to do this), this foundation doesn't feel heavy on the face, and while it has a dewy finish to it - it doesn't feel heavy or sticky the way some hydrating formulations can. It is so natural-looking and I absolutely adore that about it. I wore this for about 10+ hours and it stayed put and looked absolutely beautiful on my skin.
