Moisturizer Review: Bioderma Hydrabio Gel-Creme

Today's review will be for the Bioderma Hydrabio Gel-Creme

Availability: This is available at dermstore.com, target.com, and cvs.com. The retail pricing is $24.99 for 1.4 fl oz (40 mL).

Would I buy this? Possibly

What it is formulated to do:
According to bioderma.us:
Generates hydration
The patented biological complex Aquagenium™ generates intense hydration, immediately and lastingly:
Vitamin PP strengthens skin resistance and impermeability
Apple seed extract stimulates the activity of Aquaporins, which are the natural channels allowing water flow within the skin.
Thanks to an emulsion inspired by the structure of the epidermis, the active ingredients of the Aquagénium™ patent penetrate deeply and in a more targeted manner. The skin thus regains its natural hydration capacities, for intense radiance. Lastingly.
Smoothes skin texture
By eliminating dead cells, and progressively reducing cornea layer, the skin's upper layer, salicylic acid equalizes and smooths the skin's surface, which lastingly gains radiance.
Prevents from premature skin ageing
Vitamin E helps to protect the skin against oxidative stress and combat premature cutaneous ageing.

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Glycerin: A humectant that attracts and retains moisture to/in the skin's surface.
Niacinamide: Vitamin B3 - has anti-aging benefits including: improving the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin-tone, fine lines, dullness, and a weakened skin barrier.
Squalane: Contains multiple benefits among which include: providing moisture, non-irritating to individuals with sensitive skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and other types of dermatitis, and, is in fact, soothing for those suffering from such conditions. It also is helpful in controlling excess oil production (thus it's balancing) and is antibacterial.
Salicylic Acid: Exfoliates the outer layer of skin, helps prevent clogged pores.
Apple Seed Extract: Contains antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Rapeseed sterols: Hydrate the skin.
Vitamin E: Has antioxidant properties.

What is the texture like?
As the name implies this is a gel cream - it has a nice cooling feeling when applied.

Is it scented?
This has a faint fresh scent.

My overall experience/comments on the product:
Honestly I'm sad I only have this tiny little tube because this stuff is pretty amazing - the ingredients in here are quality and I find that it hydrates beautifully while being weightless. I like it a lot.
