L'Oreal Infallible Flash Cat Eye Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Review

Today's eyeliner review is going to be on L'Oreal Infallible Flash Cat Eye Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Black

On upper lash line

Availability: This is available at any drugstore that carries the L'Oreal brand. The retail pricing varies but ranges from about $8-$15.
Would I buy this again? Yes!
NotesI'd describe the color of this as being a deep, rich black with a matte finish; it dries down completely matte so if you're not a fan of "shiny" finish liquid liner, this might be up your alley. I personally don't find that it makes a giant difference to me personally although I know people have preferences one way or another. It wears and stays put nicely (about 8-11 hours). I was so excited for a brush-tipped eyeliner at a drugstore price and I have to say I really like this, the brush has a nice tip that really allows for precision work - I mean look at how sharp that cat-eye I did is! The only thing is, you don't see the stencil on mine and that's because I threw it out... it's a weird shape and although it's more difficult to free-hand a cat-eye I suggest just learning to do it free-hand off the bat. My eyes are hooded so if I just extend my cat-eye straight up it looks whack and curved and interferes with the crease of my eye when my eyes are open so I have to take mine out in a more outward (horizontal) pattern - I have a friend who angles her cat-eyes straight outwards... so my advice is play with where you take the cat-eye and see what works best for you.

NYX Epic Ink Liner Review

Today's eyeliner review is going to be on NYX Epic Ink Liner in Black

On upper lash line

Availability: This is available at any drugstore that carries the NYX brand or at NYX freestanding stores. The retail pricing varies but ranges from about $8-10 with $10 being the official price at nyxcosmetics.com.
Would I buy this again? No!
NotesI'd describe the color of this as being a deep, rich black with a leather-like finish - it  wears and stays put nicely (about 8-11 hours) but that's kind of where the good things end. I was so excited for a brush-tipped eyeliner at a drugstore price but unfortunately, and I'm unsure if maybe I just got a dud because I've seen people make it work... I'm hesitant to try again though given the intensity with which. it. bled! Now you can see it slightly in the photos above, I could've edited them to have them look "perfect" but I purposely left them as is so you can see the way it just seeps into the little lines on my lid. It's not cute. When this was brand new the extent of the bleeding was far worse. I also found that toward the end of me using this it would be on again, off again, dry or SUPER wet where it was difficult to control. Overall I just can't see myself trying it again.

Lip Balm Review: ColourPop Guava Have It Just a Tint Lip Crayon Bundle

ColourPop Guava Have It Just a Tint Lip Crayon Bundle

Availability: You can purchase Maui Wowie for $8 at colourpop.com; it appears as though the set and Chubby Bunny appear to have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Yes.
Notes: I absolutely LOVE these lip crayons and use them as a tinted balm, mostly underneath my lipstick, but sometimes on their own. They are super silky and make my lips feel intensely hydrated but they don't affect the wear of my lipstick, which I appreciate. They allegedly have a passionfruit scent which I sort of get, but it's a weird musky passionfruit, I don't hate it but I certainly don't love it, I wish it smelled more like actual passionfruit
Chubby Bunny is described as a sheer pastel pink. I'd say it's a sheer blue-based bubble gum pink. Personally I love this rendition of this color because it can be so difficult for most folks to pull it off, especially if it's too pastel or too opaque, it being sheer allows your natural lip color to mingle with it; thus creating a softer look.

Maui Wowie is described as a sheer vibrant pink. I'd say it's a sheer reddish coral. The moisturizing factor of this lasted for about 2-3 hours but the red left my lips stained for about 5+. It's a really pretty sheer red.

Lip Balm Review: ColourPop Dragon My Heart Around Just a Tint Lip Crayon Bundle

ColourPop Dragon My Heart Around Just a Tint Lip Crayon Bundle
AvailabilityThis set has been discontinued but you can purchase each shade separately for $5.60 each.
On their own, I feel like even Treasure Island is sheer enough to wear on a low makeup day with just tinted moisturize and still be ok if applied lightly. They allegedly have a passionfruit scent which I sort of get, but it's a weird musky passionfruit, I don't hate it but I certainly don't love it, I wish it smelled more like actual passionfruit.
Mine were mislabeled, so this one is actually The Strand

The Strand is described as a sheer mid-tone pink. I'd say it's a soft sheer mauve, it's actually incredibly similar to my natural lip color so when I first started using this I couldn't really tell that it was going on, but alas it is genuinely "my lips but better". In terms of wear time, I'd say the color and balminess remains on the lips for about 2 hours, my lips felt hydrated for around 4 hours.
Mine were mislabeled, so this one is actually Treasure Island

Treasure Island is described as a sheer deep raspberry. I'd say it's a sheer wine red.

ColourPop x Halo Top Collection Look

Hey folks, today I bring you a pretty, slightly smoky, soft look.

Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
I applied Berry Sweet with my Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5 on my cheeks. I also applied Creamsicle using my Sephora Collection #74 PRO Small Blush and Contour brush to highlight.

As a base for my eyeshadow I applied Lune+Aster Dawn to Dusk Gel Eyeliner in Black and blended it out with my Crown Pro C511 brush.

For the crease I applied By the Pound along with Sherbert Day with the Sonia Kashuk Essential Blending Crease Brush No. 273 and Crown Pro C511 Brush, respectively.

For the lid  I applied Extra Sprinkles using  my  Crown Pro C510 brush

To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Extra Sprinkles and Tassel using my no-name gigantic paddle brush from Crown and Crown Pro C528 brush, respectively

For eyeliner, I went with Lune+Aster Dawn to Dusk Gel Eyeliner in Black with a wing this time. I applied the same liner to the waterline.

For the lower lash line, I applied Semi Sweet using my Bubbi Detail brush.
The look sans lashes.

For lashes I used Ooh La Lash Eyelashes in 310 along with the Lash Star Visionary Lash Adhesive in Clear.

Hope that you liked this! :D It was super fun for me to put together! Feel free to request particular songs, animals/nature scenes (I don't do insects of any kind though, sorry, little insect feet and wings creep the bejesus outta me), Pokemon, or Pokemon towns. :P

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Disclaimer: The Sephora 55.5 brush and Bobbi Brown products were provided for testing purposes. I paid for everything else you see here myself.
