Makeup Geek Ocean Eyes Mini Palette Review

Today I bring to you the Makeup Geek Ocean Eyes Mini Palette

AvailabilityThis is no longer being sold.
Would I buy this again? Yes!
NotesI've been low-key checking Makeup Geek out for AGES and they've been on my wish list for ages too, I decided to finally give in and give them a try. I am very happy with the quality of these shadows - they're all highly pigmented, smooth, and easy to blend.

Time Travel is described as a deep teal blue, I'd describe this as a matte teal.

Code Blue is described as a light ocean blue, I'd say this is a matte sky blue.

Seas The Day is described as a rich teal blue, I'd say this is a matte bluish teal.

Flame Thrower is described as a medium tropical blue, I'd say this is a matte teal-navy.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

DisclaimerI bought this myself.

Makeup Geek Mother Nurture Mini Palette Look

Hey folks, today I bring you a fun, colorful look.

Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
I  applied the blush from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette as a base for Hourglass Blush in Nude Glow with my Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5. I also applied illuminator from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette as a base for Hourglass Metallic Strobe Powder in Champagne Strobe Light using my Sephora Collection #74 PRO Small Blush and Contour brush.

As a base for my eyeshadow I applied MAKE UP FOR EVER I-30 AQUA MATIC  and blended it out with my Crown Pro C511 brush.

For the crease I applied Olive You along with Spilled Tea with the Sonia Kashuk Essential Blending Crease Brush No. 273 and Crown Pro C511 Brush, respectively.

For the lid  I applied Mint to Be using my  Crown Pro C510 brush. I also applied Enchanted Forest on the outer quarter of the lid with the same brush to add depth and a bit of smokiness to the look.

To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Inglot 353M  using my no-name gigantic paddle brush from Crown and Crown Pro C528 brush, respectively

For the lower lash line, I applied Spilled Tea and blended it out with Olive You using my Bubbi Detail brush.
The look sans lashes.

For lashes I used  Anastasia Beverly Hills False Lashes in Domina along with the Lash Star Beauty Visionary Eyelash Adhesive.
Hope that you liked this! :D It was super fun for me to put together!

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Disclaimer: The Sephora 55.5 brush and Lune+Aster products were provided for testing purposes. I paid for everything else you see here myself.

Mint To Be is described as a light sage green, I'd describe this as a light matte celery green.

Spilled Tea is described as a rich moss green, I'd have to agree with their description and add that this is matte.
Olive You is described as a soft warm olive green. I'd say it's a matte olive green.

Enchanted Forest is described as a cool, deep ivy green. I'd say this is a deeply blackened, matte, cool-toned green shade.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
