Does this contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Once again, according to freemanbeauty.com:
• Infused with coconut to help buff away rough skin and charcoal to help absorb excess oil and impurities without over drying
• Charcoal works to exfoliate and absorb excess oil and impurities from the skin
• Coconut is the key to conditioning your skin without over drying your skin
What is the texture like?
This is a sugar based exfoliating mask so personally I would describe the texture as being gritty and slightly sticky because of the sugar granules. I personally think it has a slight warming sensation when it is initially applied.
Is this scented?
This has a mostly charcoal scent with a faint hint of coconut.
What has my experience with the product been like?
In my personal opinion this is much more of an exfoliator than it is a mask, as due to the sugar in this, it is fairly exfoliating. It can be a bit rough and the sugar doesn't really melt into the skin the way the instructions would make it seem it does. If you have sensitive skin but want a bit of an intense scrubby sensation I would recommend using this on damp or wet skin versus dry just so the moisture can soften the sugar crystals a bit.
Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.
