According to sephora.com:

Skincare Concerns: Fine Lines and Wrinkles, Pores, and Dullness and Uneven Texture

What Else You Need to Know: This innovative, antioxidant-rich SPF primer preps skin for makeup while providing broad spectrum SPF 40 and protection from blue light, the light emitted from our phones and computers. The unique oil-free formula glides onto skin providing shine control and leaving a velvety, makeup-gripping finish.

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Again, according to sephora.com:
-Complex Derived from Meadowfoam Seed: Increases hydration levels, resulting in a more even skin texture.
-Red Algae: Helps protect against blue light emitted by electronic devices.
-Frankincense: Provides a soothing effect.
Avobenzone, 3%, Homosalate 8%, Octisalate 5%, Octocrylene 4% as sunscreen

What is the texture like?
This starts off feeling silicone-y but dries to a silky, powdery finish.

Is it scented?
This has a very faint "unscented" chemical type scent.

My overall experience/comments on the product:
Alright so a few things - I had no idea that this was technically considered a primer, I mean it's got the right texture for it but it's not very clearly marketed that way; they tell you to use it as the last step in skincare and right before makeup... for me, that's moisturizer. This does provide some light hydration so it's not bad for that but I will say if you're very dry, this won't do enough. In addition, I love recommending this particular sunscreen for men because it's incredibly lightweight where it doesn't really feel like anything and it's completely clear, so it doesn't feel or look like makeup either. Plus, because this dries down powdery, it's great for anyone who's on the oilier end of the spectrum.
