Lorac Mega Pro 3 Palette Review

The big moment we've all been waiting for - I managed to get my greedy sea-hands on this box of gorgeousness. We are about to embark on a journey featuring review and swatches galore. Strap yourselves in folksickles.
Availability: This appears to have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again? Yes.
Notes: The palette contains 32 shadows, 16 of which are matte/satin and 16 which are pearly/frosty. You are essentially getting two of their pro palettes stacked into one. They are absolutely beautiful in their textures and work well with one another. I haven't had an issue with pigmentation or anything of that kind. This palette is very heavy on rosy warm-tones; I would say it feels more autumn than it does holiday, but out of everything being released this holiday season this is by far my favorite out of the neutral palettes thus far. I can't stand that the packaging is white. I get that white + rose gold is a lovely combination but this is eyeshadow and a slightly rubberized cardboard package that y'all know is going to get dirty and be difficult to clean. I am not impressed with that aspect of it at all because... OCD. Let's get on with it.
Pink Cream - a soft off-white shade with a hint of pink.
Tan - a soft, warm medium flesh-tone.
Pecan - a soft warm medium-dark flesh-tone.
Walnut - a warm, mid-tone-to-deep brown.

Dusty Mauve - a gorgeous plummy rosy mauve. One of my favorites in the palette.
Violet Gray - a very grayed purple-y mauve tone.
Eggplant - a rosy eggplant purple.
Dark Navy - this is almost more of a black with a hint of navy in it.
Crepe - a satiny off-white with a very slight, subtle pink sheen.
Toffee - a soft, warm, light pink-y fleshy tone.
Mist - a grayish white with a bit of a blue tone to it.
Vintage -  a satiny khaki green-brown.
Hickory - a deep cool-toned brown.
Maple- gorgeous warm, reddish brown. I love this.
Bark - a deep auburn-brown.
Jet Black - rich matte black, yaaaaas. I love it when matte blacks are rich and buttery like this as so many times a good black like this is hard to find.
Snow - a very frosted white.
Cava - very champagne-toned, really pretty for an all-over lid color.
Cider - a very warm, pinkish mid-tone shade.
Bellini - a warm, whitish peachy pink.
Brown Sugar - a warm metallic brown with a hint of red.
Sequoia - a deep metallic auburn... it's much prettier in person, I gotta say.
Glacier - slightly blue-toned silver.
Deep Fog - a satiny charcoal gunmetal color.
Tulle - a soft whitish pink champagne.
Pink Bronze - a warm mid-tone coppery bronze.
Rust - if actual rust were pretty, it would look like this. A coppery tone with an intense reddish-pink pearl.
Rose Quartz- a coppery rosy metallic mauve.
Olive - a metallic warm olive tone with a hint of brown.
Dark Roast - a deep, metallic cool-toned brown.
Pomegranate - a shimmery pinkish red.
Licorice - this is a satiny black with pink shimmer.

Highlighter Review: Chaos Makeup Kaleidoscope Highlighter

BEHOLD the Chaos Makeup Highlighter in Kaleidoscope
Ombre
Blended
Availability: This retails at $26 and is available at chaosmakeup.com.
Would I buy this again? Yes.
Notes: Ugh, ok, I gave in to this rainbow/holographic highlight craze; I mean that, in addition to how much I actually love rainbows and mermaid things, made me go with this one in particular. This is created out of their glitter-free highlight formula. Read, glitter-free, not shimmer-free, this still has quite a metallic glow to it, which I think is quite pretty. All the shades have a nice iridescent finish to them while remaining soft and can, in theory, be used individually... which I think would work on eyes or lips but not necessarily the face, just because of the pan size. Each shade is sold separately as well, so if you love one, or a few, in particular you can always choose to buy them that way as well. The formulation is VERY smooth and glides on beautifully/is easy to work with. Also the color created when these are swirled together is this pewter-y green situation - this might vary on your individual highlighter as these are hand-made so I'd expect there would be variation from one to the next.

Highlighter Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Kit

BEHOLD the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Moonchild
Availability: This retails at $40 for six pans that are (4.2g) .15 oz each and is available at ulta.com and macys.com along with their physical store locations as well as anastasiabeverlyhills.com.
Would I buy this again? Possibly.
Notes: I'll describe each color as I get to it but a few things - firstly I wish it came with a mirror, this palette size and the way it stays open would work well with a mirror, so... there's that. That said I typically don't use mirrors in palettes so... All these shades are heavily frosted/glow-y/shimmery, it's not a glitter but they are somewhat metallic, so if you're not a fan of that, this item is probably not up your alley. Look at how glorious it is! I love how it's like a rainbow highlight but is more subtle so it doesn't compete with your makeup while still giving you a beautiful glow. I think it's an excellent entry point into more colorful highlighters - and I'm a big advocate for color - but without the commitment of something too terribly "out there."
Blue Ice is described as a diamond white with an icy blue reflect. I'd have to agree; this has really pretty gold, blue, and pink micro-shimmer. It reminds me of snow but with a blue shift to it.
Star is described as a moonstone fusion of mint, platinum, and silver effect. To me this is a straight up bright silver. The light has to hit it just so for that hint of mint to show up.
Purple Horseshoe is described as a glittering lavender with an arctic blue reflect. This is essentially a purple version of Blue Ice. Gosh I love it, it's kind of mermaid meets ice princess. I can dig it.
Pink Heart is described as a pearl white with a pink opal reflect. This is probably the least unique thing in the palette as there's plenty of highlights done with this type of effect. Still pretty though.
Lucky Clover is described as a shamrock-infused gold with canary yellow diamond reflect. They're really reaching with this description. It's a mostly white/off-white shade with a beautiful warm green reflect.
Blue Moon is described as a frozen blue with a silver reflect. This is one of those weird colors where you can't tell if it's blue or if it's grey. It's quite pretty and is also sprinkled with very fine pink micro-glitter.

Blush Review: NYX Mauve Me Ombre Blush

Today's blush review is going to be on NYX Ombre Blush in Mauve Me
From left to right: The light portion, ombre, the dark portion, blended
Availability: This has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again? Not sure
Notes: NYX describes this color as being a shimmer lilac that fades into a shimmer mauve. I'd say it's a rosy pink shade that fades off into a mauve-y, berry color. I think the color is absolutely lovely, especially for this time of year. Moving on, the texture of this is nice, it's pretty smooth and blends well. I like how they give you a really generously sized pan as well.
