Moisturizing and lightweight texture

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Glycerin: Helps attract moisture to the skin.
What is the texture like?
This starts off as a very thin liquid that turns serum-like as it blends and absorbs into the skin. I'm unsure why they called it a gel because it doesn't really have any gel properties to it.
Is it scented?
This has a soft, subtle soapy floral scent.
My overall experience/comments on the product:
I'm sure you're all wondering how this compares to my beloved Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ PA++++. I purchased this because my beloved was out of stock. In comparison, the formula of this is thinner and a tiny bit more lightweight, but I find that it leaves a white cast behind that takes a few minutes to absorb and dissipate. I'm quite pale, so I'm unsure if this would leave those with darker complexions ashy. While this is lightweight, I find it to be fairly hydrating where I would recommend it to all skin types. If someone is particularly dry, I would suggest layering this on top of a moisturizer. Because it's lightweight, I think it would play nicely when layered on top of other products. It also leaves the skin feeling very soft and smooth, so if you're a makeup wearer, this could function well as a primer on its own without the need for additional product.
