Ok folks. Departure blogs will contain items that aren't empties but that are going to be given away for one reason or another. I'm working hard to curate my makeup collection and want it to include only the products that I think truly work well, that I reach for often and do what they're supposed to do.
1. Sephora Collection PRO Contour Brush #79: Unfortunately, even though I liked using this brush to do contour on others, I feel like it just doesn't work well for me personally. It doesn't give me the color intensity I'm looking for. I really don't like it for any complexion products except maybe applying powder under the eyes. Even so, I find that it sheds a lot and I don't love that about it.
2. Misc mermaid brush: This brush has a shape that, in my opinion is so weird as to make it unusable. The top of it is too thin to get a good contour, it just draws outright lines. The flat end creates streaks so it's not great for cream products either. Perhaps it would work for powder blush or all over powder or applying powder highlighter but since I have brushes I already like using for those purposes I'm just passing this brush along.
