Eyeshadow Review: My Pretty Zombie Loose Eyeshadows

Alright, so I got a bunch of these to try out during their black Friday sale and have to say I'm excited to use them but... knowing me is knowing I'm not particularly into blood and gore and zombie stuff. I love mermaids and magic but... and I love Salad Fingers but... this wasn't exactly a brand that someone would see and go "Safyre would jump on this like white on rice" but the lovely Tori of Biohazardous Beauty is always raving about them and makes them look amazing so I just had to give them a try - plus they're only $5.50 a pop and were on sale. Here's the thing though and it freaked me the hell out when I opened my first package - each package came with a dismembered plastic finger... just imagine, you get home at 1 AM and your long awaited makeup is waiting for you and you open up the box and there's a friggin dismembered bloody finger in there (fake of course) but still. I nearly dropped the box. I know some people would be delighted to get such a thing but I was just... I feel the need to warn you because you know... I wasn't amused until I realized it wasn't real and when I did take photos people thought it was a dildo... all kinds of ish went down, lemme tell you. I think it would be cool if they put Salad Fingers fingers in their boxes... he's not a zombie but he could most certainly pass for one... then again, he eats brains so maybe he is? Maybe?

AvailabilityEach eyeshadow retails at $5.50 for 1.5g and is available at myprettyzombie.com.
Would I buy this again? I haven't played with these enough to make a firm decision but the swatches are quite delicious. I can't wait to really play.
Notes: Discussion will accompany each shade.
Trepanation - is described as a taupe with green shift. it does look like that in the jar but turns into somewhat of an orange-brown with a strong green-teal shift on my skin. Interesting. Me gusto.
Blended in further
Infirmity - is described as mossy green/blue base. I know this is so lame but the very first time I swatched this and saw the magic I was like "this is so DOPE!" So in the container it does look very green, like a mossy green with green glitter particles but oh wait... wait...the more you blend this the bluer it gets and the more the gold stands out. This reminds me of the bioluminescent bay at Puerto Rico, it's just super magical and everyone needs to own it.
Enucleate - is described as an ocean teal blue. This is a mind-blowing, stunning, mermaid color. Like, this is so me and I NEEDED it. Are you kidding me? It's the color of my friggin tail, obvi! A gorgeous, jewel-toned teal with an intense golden-green pearl. I'm le dying. Like... the picture doesn't even... use this wet... you will be blown away.
Rabies - doesn't have a color description on the website. It's a mid-tone bluish mint with a purply pearl.
Forsaken - is described as a  turquoise/blue base. I'd describe this color as a beautiful blue disco ball. It's like the night sky sprinkled with blue stars. I'm in love.

No. 996 - is described as a medium electric blue. It  fits its description well.
Monstrous Industry -is described as a light lavender with a blue shift. It's this lovely periwinkle-lavender shade with a turquoise shimmer. Ooooh, me gusto!
Grimdeva -is described as a a dark purple with a slight red shift. This looked a lot grayer on the website to be honest and I typically am not pulled toward redder purples. I'm not too excited about it. Color-wise, I'd say it's a red-based purple with a soft sheen.
Tenderloin -is described as a red plum with blue shimmer. This is yet another color that I swatched and then went "this is dope" because it legit resembles raw meat/bruises but... in a gorgeous way. Like... this color is a "pretty zombie" color and I dig this because it's one of the more unique shades in my collection. You folks know I normally don't like reds or red-based purples but the violet pearl in this makes it so dope looking! I really want Brisket from this collection.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

DisclaimerI paid for these myself.
