'Ello folksickles. Today's review will be for the Organic Kitchen Pistachio Mafia Polishing Face Scrub.
Availability: I can't seem to find a retailer online for this, but I bought it at my local Russian-speaking pharmacy for $4.29 for 100 ml.
Would I buy this again? Yes!
What is this product? What is it supposed to do?
According to the packaging:
A polishing, aromatic pistachio scrub for your skin. The scrub delicately cleanses and renews the skin, making it incredibly smooth and elastic.
Does this contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Once again, according to the packaging:
Organic Ground Pistachios: Gently exfoliate without harming delicate skin, giving the skin a glow and making it silky.
Fresh Soy Milk: Nourishes and hydrates the skin, has antiaging and regenerative properties.
What is the texture like?
This has a creamy texture with fine exfoliating particles within it. I find it both invigorating to exfoliate my face with yet gentle. My skin is left feeling soft and hydrated when I rinse this off.
Is this scented?
I would describe this scent as being sweet and nutty. It's almost like a mix of pistachio butter with a hint of vanilla to it; I find it extremely pleasant.
What has my experience with the product been like?
I feel like I've been on the hunt for an affordable but effective facial exfoliant - often the ones I like are pricey and the ones from the drugstore are either too harsh or they don't do anything at all and are too gentle. This is my Goldilocks of drugstore facial scrubs. My skin truly is both glowing and silky soft after I use this. I absolutely adore it and hope I'm able to find it again when I run out.
Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.
Disclaimer: I purchased this myself.
