Lip Product Review: YSL 49 Golden Violet Golden Gloss

Lip GlossYSL Golden Gloss in 49 Golden Violet
AvailabilityThese are discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Possibly.
Notes:   I would describe this as a buildable, semi-sheer magenta-fuchsia-berry color with golden sparkles.

In terms of texture, this gloss is very smooth and comfortable to wear. I love the brush applicator; it gives amazing precision. Wear time is about 4 hours before needing a retouch. It has a fruity, sweet scent that I believe is supposed to be papaya. I don't think it smells like papaya but the scent did grow on me.

Disclaimer: My bestie got this for me.

Lip Product Review: NYX Sugar Cookie Butter Gloss

Lip GlossNYX Butter Gloss in Sugar Cookie
AvailabilityThis particular shade has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Maybe.
Notes:   Color-wise this is described as a bright fuchsia. To me this reads as more of a muted fuchsia meets magenta kind of shade.

In terms of texture, this gloss is fairly smooth and silky on the lips, it feels really moisturizing and I really enjoy its texture. This has a sweet, sugar scent to it.

Disclaimer: I bought this myself.

Lip Product Review: MAKE UP FOR EVER M0 Lab Shine Metal Collection

Lip GlossMAKE UP FOR EVER Lab Shine Metal Collection in M0
AvailabilityUnfortunately this has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Yes.
Notes:   I would describe this as a buildable semi-sheer/semi-opaque black gloss with silver micro-glitter. It's pretty on its own or when worn over pretty much any other color. I love this so much in fact that I bought a backup. I used to wear this when I was at a bad mood at Sephora but got so many compliments on it that I just bought it and then went on to buy a second one when I heard they were discontinuing these. The funny thing is when I told people I was buying it they'd be like "oh no, a black gloss that's weird, don't do it" but they'd see me in it and be like "never mind, do it! Do it!"

In terms of texture, this gloss is very smooth going on and wears well for about 3-4 hours before needing a retouch. Honestly this was my favorite gloss formula and I'm bummed that it's gone. This has a really pleasant fruity scent to it.

Disclaimer: I purchased this myself.

Lip Product Review: MAKE UP FOR EVER 500 Artist Plexi-Gloss

Lip GlossMAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Plexi-Gloss in 500
AvailabilityThis appears to have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: No.
Notes:   Color-wise this is described as an opaque lilac. To me this reads as more of a pinkish purple, borderline cool-toned purplish magenta.

In terms of texture, this gloss is very tacky when worn alone and gets to be less tackier with a balm  or lipstick beneath it and with time, that said when you apply it, it feels super gloppy. :/

Lip Gloss Review: L'Oreal 300 Orange Tempo Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color

Lip GlossL'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color in 300 Orange Tempo
Availability: It seems like this has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: Yes.
Notes:   I'd say this shade is a very vivid tangerine orange/ persimmon shade with a very soft hint of a gold micro-shimmer throughout. This is a very opaque gloss and looks great on its own.
In terms of texture, this gloss is very smooth and glides on easily and I like the tapered applicator, it makes the product easy to apply. This has quite a pungent sweet, tangy, kind of citrusy scent. I dig it but, to each their own.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

L'oreal Golden Emerald Infallible Eyeshadow Review

Today I'll be reviewing the L'oreal Paris Infallible Eyeshadow in Golden Emerald
AvailabilityDue to this being a drugstore item its price and availability will vary, you receive 3.5 g (0.12 oz) of product per pan and it averages around $7-8, at least from what I'm seeing on Google.
Would I buy this again? Possibly.
NotesThese have been catching my eye at the drugstore for years now and I figured I'd try out this pretty green.
Golden Emerald has been kind of my color of the moment, I'm really liking smoky greens and olives lately. This shade is a deep brown, almost black, base with a layer of green pearl and then loaded with gold and a bit of silver micro-shimmer. It's so beautiful and I think it would probably be even more dope if used damp.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

DisclaimerI purchased this using my own funds.

Lip Gloss Review: Christian Dior 775 Darling Rouge Dior Brilliant

Lip Gloss: Christian Dior Rouge Dior Brilliant in 775 Darling
Availability: This appears to have been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?: I don't think so.
Notes:  I'd say this gloss is a fuchsia pink with a hint of red. It gives a nice wash of color but isn't full-on opaque.
In terms of texture, this gloss is very smooth and glides on easily, it  has a beautiful cushiony texture that just glides over the lips and isn't one bit sticky and feels lovely on. That said the price is kinda steep though. :/

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
