Sugarpill Kim Chi Eyeshadow Review

As a Sugarpill and Drag Race addict I clearly needed this in my life (no one is surprised, even less so at the color.)
AvailabilityTheis retails at $13 for 3.5g (.12 oz) at sugarpill.com.
Would I buy this again? I think I would.
NotesAlright, so texture-wise this is really soft, creamy, and has a lot of pigment payoff.
This is described as a intensely saturated electric teal with a silky smooth matte finish. I'd have to say this is pretty true to its description. It almost has a pastel-ish touch to it. It's such a fun color and I'm excited to play with it.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Disclaimer: I bought this myself.

L'oreal Paris Liquid Diamond Infallible Eyeshadow Review

Today I'll be reviewing the L'oreal Paris Infallible Eyeshadow in Liquid Diamond
AvailabilityDue to this being a drugstore item its price and availability will vary, you receive 3.5 g (0.12 oz) of product per pan and it averages around $7-8, at least from what I'm seeing on Google.
Would I buy this? Possibly.
Notes: These have been catching my eye at the drugstore for years now and I could never decide on a shade but I was getting stuff and kind of forced myself to pick one up to try, this looked really unique so I figured, ok, this one. I would describe the color of this as a taupe-y lavender tone with LOADS of golden sparkle to it. It is so beautiful. I'm not sure why but I've been super into metallic neutrals lately and this doesn't disappoint.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

MAKE UP FOR EVER 940 Star Powder Review

Today I'll be reviewing MAKE UP FOR EVER Star Powder in 940
Alright so ever since I was given samples of these I had to have more. Moar! I am so in love with the star powders, they're absolutely gorgeous.
AvailabilityThis has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again? I wanna say yes.
NotesThis has a pearl finish.
940 - is described as a white with orange highlights. I think calling this orange is just a disservice to the complexity of the shade. The base is an off-white with a duochrome/pearl that can be pink, gold, and/or orange and any combination when the light hits it just right. It's so unique and stunning I had to get my hands on it.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

ColourPop Eyeshadow Review: Fantasy

Ok you folks, ColourPop was having a little site-wide sale and I thought it was a good time to pick up some new goodies to play with.

AvailabilityThese has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again? I can't say for sure yet.
NotesThese have the oddest texture, they're squishy, soft and gelatinous but dry to a powdery finish.
Fantasy is described as a electric neon red violet topped with multi-dimensional glitter. I would describe this color as a magenta base LOADED with violet, fuchsia, gold, and silver glitter of varying sizes. It is just so summery and screams party time. I think for the daring among us this would work beautifully as a blush or even a lip color.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

DisclaimerI paid for these myself.

L'oreal Paris Pain Au Chocolate Colour Riche Eyeshadow Review

Today I'll be reviewing the L'oreal Paris Colour Riche Eyeshadow in Pain Au Chocolate.
I apologize for the not-so-pretty appearance of my eyeshadow, it broke and I re-pressed it. Clearly I didn't do the most aesthetically pleasing job of it.
Availability: Due to this being a drugstore item its price and availability will vary, you receive 3.5 g (0.12 oz) of product per pan and it averages around $5-7, at least from what I'm seeing on Google.
Would I buy this? Possibly.
NotesAlright let's laugh for a hot second, according to ulta.com these are the "first shadow with infused gel technology" um... untrue. The MAKE UP FOR EVER re-launch of their entire shadow collection is completely gel based and that happened last year. That said, these keep catching my eye at the drugstore so I figured I'd pick up at least one to play with. I would describe the color of this as a slightly pinkish metallic taupe with an intense white pearl. Its texture is incredibly smooth and silky; it blends absolutely beautifully and has a gorgeous metallic sparkle to it. I think it's actually really beautiful and I'm pretty impressed with its quality and wear, not gonna lie. I would definitely be game to try out more of these.

Clinique Aqua Pop Lid Pop Shadow Review

Today I'll be reviewing the Clinique Lid Pop Shadow in Aqua Pop
AvailabilityThese retail at $19.50 for .21 oz  and are available at bloomingdales.com, dillards.com, bluemercury.com, and macys.com along with their respective physical store locations as well as clinique.com.
Would I buy this? Yes!
NotesColor-wise I would describe this as a rich teal tone with an intense gold pearl. It is BEAUTIFUL. Like... I can't explain how my heart sings to own this and how nice it was of the Clinique brand rep to save this one for me, it makes it just that much more special. I'm not entirely sure if the people that don't like these got duds or something because mine is pigmented AF... like, I don't have to use it wet or anything crazy; although I have used it wet and it does go on intensely that way. I just wanted to show you the awesome shift of the pearl when the light hits it just right. Mermaid magic! In any case, this (at least this particular shade) is extremely pigmented, it's soft, buttery, easy to blend. I am blown away. I feel like I have to put this out there because my past experience with Clinique eyeshadows was "meh" at best and often times I was disappointed. The colors would look nice in the palettes but the payoff, texture, expectations versus reality of what the color was would be... not what I wanted them to be. This, on the other hand, is amazing. Plus I dig the flower design, I think she cute. The entire Pop line in Clinique is really wonderful in my opinion and I like how it gives people who expect the quality of buttery, high-pigment, smooth products the option of having something that's also allergy tested and free of potentially irritating fragrances. Thumbs up from me.
