Would I buy this? No.

What is this product? What is it supposed to do?
Product info according to beautyhabit.com:
Ultimate moisturizing and nourishing serum that helps to achieve optimum skin hydration while improving skin elasticity.
Why it is so effective:
Pomegranate oil is rich in punicic & ellagic fatty acids, which heal, protect & moisturize, restoring deep hydration.
Rose Geranium oil further nurtures and hydrates skin with its sebum-balancing properties.
In aromatherapy, Rose Geranium is known for harmonizing emotions & its antidepressant properties.

Does this contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Again, according to beautyhabit.com
Highest-grade cold-pressed certified virgin organic Pomegranate (Punica granatum) oil, Certified organic Rose Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) essential oil,
Certified GMO-free Vitamin E (Tocopherols) oil: Has anti-oxidant properties.

What is the texture like?
This has an oily texture that's neither too light nor too heavy.

Is this scented?
This has an herbaceous, almost peppery scent, I'm not a fan.

What has my experience with the product been like?
I would say overall that this provides nice hydration and a beautiful glow to the skin. That said, I don't think it's any less hydrating than any other face oil.

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Love It Or Leave It; Review 2.0: Violet Voss Sakura Blossom Palette

Hello folksickles. As a makeup junkie and blogger you may have realized that I review a LOAD of eyeshadow palettes and I like to think of myself as being largely an eyeshadow junkie. In order to de-clutter a bit  I've decided to pick out a palette or series of eyeshadows for the month and have that be my monthly selection for those instances where I'm not doing a tutorial for the blog. Every month I'll do a recap on the eyeshadows - how I feel about them and whether I'll be keeping them or giving them away (and why :P) as well as if I think it's worth its price tag.

You can find a look I did with the palette here. These are the looks I created this month:

So as you can see I created some soft,  smoky, neutral and colorful looks. This has been eyeing me on Instagram for a while now and when I went to Sephora and saw it there I knew that I couldn't resist! It's an absolutely gorgeous palette and I LOVE using it - the color payoff and blend-ability are absolutely fantastic and the palette is just a joy to use. I don't want to put it down, which is clearly a sign of my love and devotion for it. I love its versatility - allowing you to create looks that are neutral, colorful, or a combination of the two. The pinks here do a great job of brightening my eyes, rather than making my eyes look tired. I received loads of compliments on my eye makeup when I wore this too, which was really nice.

Disclaimer: I purchased this myself.

Love It Or Leave It; Review 2.0: ColourPop Going Coconuts Palette

So as you can see I created some soft, some smoky, neutral looks. I really love the quality of this palette - the color payoff is excellent, the shadows are beautiful and they blend well. Frankly, because I own such a large collection of palettes - specifically in this case, neutral ones, I'm unsure if I'll be keeping this palette permanently or if I just like it because, in comparison to the Naked palettes that have been in this "love it or leave it" portion of the blog, this palette performed a lot better for me - both in terms of me liking the colors in myself and in its color payoff. That said, I really enjoyed using this palette and creating looks with it, so I'll be holding onto it.
