Candle Review: Bath & Body Works Rose

Hi folks, so I have another home fragrance post for you.
Candle: Bath & Body Works Scented Candle in Rose
Availability: This scent has been discontinued.
Would I buy this again?:Yes.
Notes: I purchased this because y'all know I love rose scents.
Here's what I'm getting from smelling the candle cold - it has a very soft, floral yet watery rose fragrance.
As the wax warms and burns, the scent intensifies, though it doesn't change.
I find this candle melts and burns very well; it has a throw that smells up my entire room, albeit softly because the scent itself is soft.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Disclaimer: Bought this myself.

Candle Review: Trader Joe's Peony Blossom

Hi folks, so I have another home fragrance post for you.

Candle: Trader Joe's Peony Blossom
Availability:  This is currently discontinued, this appears to reappear during the springtime (around May) so you can check for it then. It launched in May 2020.
Would I buy this again?: I'd be willing to give it another shot because I like the scent.
Notes: I vividly remember going to Trader Joe's last spring, smelling this, and being utterly delighted with the scent to such an extent that I had to have it right away. It has a lovely, light floral scent reminiscent of peonies with a hint of something sweet and fruity. Apples perhaps. Apple-y peony? Right up my alley!
As the wax warms and burns, the scent intensifies, though ever so slightly.
Alright frankly I find that this candle burns unevenly and doesn't have much of a throw unless you burn it for a significant amount of time - I'm talking 5+ hours, which isn't always realistic (although it is now that we're in quarantine - I'm writing this post at the end of March). As such, I will be passing it along to a friend.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Disclaimer: I purchased this myself.

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
According to sephora.com:
Rosewater: Soothes and tones the skin

What is the texture like?
This feels pretty watery, hydrating and is refreshing when applied.

Is this scented?
This has a cucumber-y herbal rose scent.

What has my experience with the product been like?
Honestly this doesn't do much, it feels refreshing when it's sprayed on but so do other toners that come in spray bottles. I didn't find that this did anything for my redness and I personally prefer a sweet rose scent that's pure rose.

Juvia's Place Warrior III Palette Look

Hey folks, today I bring you a bright, fun, colorful look.

Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
I  applied the blush from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette as a base for Hourglass Nude Glow Blush with my Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5. I also applied illuminator from the Lune+Aster Desert Moon Palette as a base for Hourglass Metallic Strobe Powder in Champagne Strobe Light using my Sephora Collection #74 PRO Small Blush and Contour brush.

As a base for my eyeshadow I applied OCC Cosmetic Colour Pencil in Pool Boy  and blended it out with my Crown Pro C511 brush.

For the crease I applied Nzinga along with Fanti with the Sonia Kashuk Essential Blending Crease Brush No. 273 and Crown Pro C511 Brush, respectively.

For the lid  I applied Kongo wet using Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea and my Crown Pro C510 brush

To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Kat Von D Melanie using my no-name gigantic paddle brush from Crown and Crown Pro C528 brush, respectively

For eyeliner, I went with the wet n wild proline Felt Tip Eyeliner in Black. For the waterline I applied Colourpop BFF Creme Gel Liner in Honeydude.

For the lower lash line, I applied Kahina and blended it out with Jarawa using my Bubbi Detail brush.
The look sans lashes.

For lashes I used red cherry eyelashes in Simone along with the Duo Quick Set Striplash Adhesive.

Hope that you liked this! :D It was super fun for me to put together! Feel free to request particular songs, animals/nature scenes (I don't do insects of any kind though, sorry, little insect feet and wings creep the bejesus outta me), Pokemon, or Pokemon towns. :P

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Disclaimer: The Sephora 55.5 brush and Lune+Aster palette were provided for testing purposes. The palette was a birthday gift from my wife. I paid for everything else you see here myself.
