Would I buy this?: I might.

What is this product designed to address?
According to oseamalibu.com:
The perfect take-everywhere moisturizer. Lightweight formula provides barrier protection against extreme climates, wind and air pollution. Antioxidant-rich oils and organic seaweed firm skin and leave a silky finish. Ideal primer for makeup.

Does it contain any special/beneficial ingredients?
Again, according to oseamalibu.com:
ALGAE EXTRACT Contains potent vitamins and minerals. Hydrates dry skin and reinforces the appearance of a healthy, balanced, moisture-rich complexion.
AVOCADO (PERSEA GRATISSIMA) OIL Firms skin and helps diminish the appearance of wrinkles. Rich in vitamin E.
LAVENDER (LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA) OIL Renowned for its sweet aroma and relaxing and balancing properties. A natural skin soother.
MACADAMIA (MACADAMIA TERNIFOLIA) SEED OIL A lightweight botanical oil rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants. Deeply hydrates skin and visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
SHEA BUTTER (BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII) Naturally rich in essential fatty acids, phytosterols, vitamin E, D and provitamin A. An excellent skin conditioning agent for harsh climates and for after-sun care.
Vitamin E: Has anti-oxidant properties.
Calendula Flower Extract: Has antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory.
Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract: Has anti-oxidant properties.
Chamomile Flower Extract: Has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-fungal and anti-oxidant properties.
Geranium Oil: Has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties.
Grapefruit Peel Oil: Has anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties.

What is the texture like?
This feels silky and lightweight yet richly moisturizing. I will say that I think it feels lightweight for someone with a dry skin type whereas someone with oily skin will most likely find this too heavy for them.

Is it scented?
This has a sweet, earthy, slightly herbaceous scent to it.

My overall experience/comments on the product:
Personally I think the scent on this is a bit odd, not in a bad way, but it's a strange scent. It does dissipate very quickly once it's on your face. That aside, I think this is a great moisturizer if you're like me where your skin is dry but cannot handle thick, heavy moisturizers. This absorbs into the skin easily while providing rich hydration. In fact, on my face, it feels pretty weightless. I haven't tried to use this as a primer so I'm unsure if it'll help with the longevity of my makeup.
