ColourPop Ooh La La! Pressed Powder Palette Review

Today I bring to you the ColourPop Ooh La La! Pressed Powder Palette.

AvailabilityThis is exclusive to colourpop.com where it retails at $14 for 9 eyeshadows (1.10 g / 0.04 oz. each).
Would I buy this again? I think I would!
NotesSo I had no intention of purchasing this palette because I have the Strawberry Shake, Sol and Main Squeeze palettes... this felt a bit redundant. That said ColourPop was having a 25% sale off one item and I asked one of my besties to pick out something for me to get. So he chose this palette. In fact I'm reviewing it now because he was so excited for me to have it and asked me to expedite a review. Without further ado:
Tickled is described as a soft opalescent pink with violet, pink, & blue glitter flip, I'd say it's a sheer white base tone loaded with blue, pink, and silver-white micro-glitter. This would make a fun cheek highlight and I have to say it's my favorite shade in the palette because it's fun on its own but also makes a fun topper for the other shadows.

Soft Core is described as a matte warm pink, I'd say it's a warm, matte mid-tone pink (I agree).

Poodle is described as a matte vibrant true pink, I'd say it's a satiny pinkish red.
Big Sugar is described as a bright bubblegum pink with a silver sheen, I'd say it's a metallic fuchsia with pink-gold micro-shimmer.

Opulent is described as a bright fuchsia with a blue sheen, I'd say it's  a metallic intense fuchsia with a subtle violet-blue pearl (seems like I agree again).

Sandbar is described as a matte neon pink, I'd say it's a  mostly matte bright fuchsia (again, lol). It has very sporadic tiny little shimmer particles but I think those are there mostly just to help it blend and don't really show up.
Trove is described as a matte raspberry, I'd say it's a matte cool-toned burgundy brick red.

Caddy is described as a vibrant deep violet, I'd say it's a matte plummy burgundy (I think of violets as being more blue-toned :/).

Moon Struck is described as a metallic peachy gold, I'd say it's a slightly pinkish metallic champagne shade.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

ColourPop Fizz Super Shock Shadow Look

Hey folks, today I bring you a fun, colorful look that I think is reminiscent of caramel apples.

Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
I  applied YSL 5 Fuchsia Temptation Crème de Blush Cream Blush as a base for Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Nude Glow with my  Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5. I also applied L'Oreal Rose True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator using my Sephora Collection #74 PRO Small Blush and Contour brush.

As a base for my eyeshadow I applied MAKE UP FOR EVER I-30 AQUA MATIC and blended it out with my Crown Pro C511 brush.

For the crease I applied ColourPop New Digs along with ColourPop Hotel with the Sonia Kashuk Essential Blending Crease Brush No. 273 and Crown Pro C511 Brush, respectively.

For the lid  I applied Fizz  and ColourPop Unwind - I used Fizz  all over the lid and Unwind as the accent shade on the outer 1/4 of my eye using my a no-name small paddle brush and my  Crown Pro C510 brush, respectively.
To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Inglot 353M and ColourPop B&B using my no-name gigantic paddle brush from Crown and Crown Deluxe Precision Crease brush, respectively

For eyeliner, I went with L'Oreal Flash Cat Eye Eyeliner in Black with a wing this time. For the waterline I applied Stila Peacock Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner.

For the lower lash line, I applied ColourPop Floaties  using my Bubbi Detail brush.

The look sans lashes.

For lashes I used Andrea Strip Lashes in 33 along with the Callas Eyelash Adhesive in Clear.
For lips, I applied the ColourPop Just A Tint Lip Crayon in Chubby Bunny and topped it off with the YSL 5 Fuchsia Temptation Crème de Blush Cream Blush and Chantecaille Lip Chic Lip Color in Tea Rose.

Hope that you liked this! :D It was super fun for me to put together! Feel free to request particular songs, animals/nature scenes (I don't do insects of any kind though, sorry, little insect feet and wings creep the bejesus outta me), Pokemon, or Pokemon towns. :P

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Disclaimer: The Sephora 55.5 brush, YSL, Hourglass, and Chantecaille products were provided for testing purposes and/or as gifts. I paid for everything else you see here myself.

ColourPop Fizz Super Shock Shadow Review

Hello folksickles, today I'm reviewing a really pretty green eyeshadow.

Availability: This shade appears to have been discontinued.
Would I buy this?: Maybe.
Notes: This shade is described as an electric neon green with multidimensional glitter. I'd describe this shade as a grassy chartreuse with gold glitter chunks. It's a really pigmented shade that applies and blends easily.

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

DisclaimerI purchased this myself.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit - Unlocked Palette Review

BEHOLD the Hourglass Ambient  Lighting Edited - Unlocked Palette

AvailabilityThis has been discontinued.
Would I buy this? Probably not given that the shades here aren't unique enough to pay the price of this palette for.
NotesAlright so despite what I wrote about my motivations to purchase this palette if it were to ever relaunch I do have to say that the quality of the shades here is great - they're pigmented, have a soft metallic glow, and stay put all day.
Finishing Powder, Soft Light - Unfortunately this is mostly used up so you can't get much of the essence of it but it reminds me greatly of Dim Light which is in the permanent range - it's a great all over shade because of its very subtle sheen - it gives the skin a glow without looking oily or oddly metallic; it's also really fantastic for setting the under-eye area or dusting off your "bake." I'd describe the shade as a softly glowing light cool pink tone.
Finishing Powder, Filtered Light - Honestly because this is bronze-y on my skin-tone I've been using it as a soft bronzer and I really like it for that purpose.
Bronzer, Golden Bronze Light - This is a slightly darker bronzer with a subtle gold pearl and golden micro-glitter .
Blush, Nude Glow- This is a soft, pinky peach with gold micro-glitter.
Blush, Mood Flush - This is a satiny reddish plum .
Metallic Strobe Powder, Champagne Strobe Light - This is a metallic nude champagne tone.
